I've already stayed 1 month in the jackaroo hostel 7 months ago. As I am traveling down the east coast from cairns I decided to come back to this amazing hostel to stay there for another 3 nights. It's very different than other hostels. You want to go there to experience pure relaxation and nothing else. Very comfortable rooms and...

Don't really understand the rave reviews. Staff were friendly and helpful yes but the fact it was in a rainforest meant copious amounts of bugs which although not the hostels fault were always around whether dead or alive it was like they were never cleaned up. The dorm room was HOTTER THAN THE SUN the ceiling fan did absolutely nothing...

This is one of the best hostel that I have ever stayed at. The location and view are incredible, the rooms + bathroom are super clean and the staff were such a good laugh. Only came to Mission beach to go skydiving and stay there for a night but ended up staying another two weeks. Perfect place to relax especially...

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. It is very tidy and lovely ran. Our room was cleaned daily and so was the common area. Although the hot temperatures, the common area was quite moderately because of the fans all over the place. The general mood was pretty laid-back not at last because of the friendly and helpful staff....

By far one of the best places to stay in Queensland. Its a paradise where the rainforest meets the ocean. The hostel itself is an awesome tree house with swimming pool. A few hammocks for some chill time whilst basking in the sun. The hostel is very clean, staff are more than helpful, and can assist you any info, or...

I absolutely loved this hostel! Nestled in the middle of the tropical rainforest, this was an amazing place to relax and get in touch with nature. The open design of the common area let's you always feel like you're outdoors while in frankly the cleanest hostel I've stayed in in Australia. Whether I was after a nature walk or a...

This place was amazing. I travelled the East Coast and this was one of my last stops. I arrived and the place blew my mind. It's in the middle of the rainforest which is a welcome after the usual stops you do along the way. They have a big pool out the back which is cool and everyone chills out...

Whilst this hostel was generally clean, the amount of insects at night was unreal. The dorms were clean, but the communal area was a disaster. The kitchen was tiny, making cooking very hard. The location is so far out of the way that I had to get a bus to go anywhere. I also found the majority of staff very...

Great little treehouse hostel in the middle of the rainforest, clean rooms, amazing views and laid back atmosphere. Free courtesy bus was super helpful to get around as well as the friendly bus driver and english guy on reception making the stay very enjoyable.
