What a fun concept - a tug boat converted into a BnB! We stayed in the pilot's suite. It had a great view of downtown St Paul. The upstairs room has a couch and is a very comfortable place to hang out. There is a nice outdoor area. If it hadn't been raining, we would have spent a lot of...

We didn't really know what to expect, and were very pleasantly surprised with our stay on the Covington, a converted Mississippi River tow boat permanently moored directly across the river from downtown St Paul, MN. Liz, the owner greeted us warmly, showed us the salon and our room, explained the bathroom and breakfast, and left for the aft portion of...

Hey there! Thank you for your awesome review. I remember you guys and how much fun you had here-hanging out all night long. I think that's the best way to enjoy the Covington Inn-not going out and being away from the boat most of the night. Call me soon to book your summer getaway! Thank you again, Liz

I stayed here on my birthday and it was lovely. I had the pilot house suite, which is two tiers with a private deck patio area. It has neat steering equipment on the second level, with a futon as well. The views are incredible! Lovely, lovely! This was Sept. 2015

My husband and I decided to try something different when we were in St Paul for a Wild hockey game. We Picked the Covington Inn B&B. It was a very pleasant experience. The hostess was there when we checked in and showed us to our room. The room was quite large with a comfortable bed and sitting area and access...

Our family had a fun stay at the Convington Inn. Such a cute boat with a friendly hostess and guests. The location is easy to find and within walking distance of the city center. Both rooms had sitting areas and plenty of space for two guests. Comfy beds, air conditioning and hot showers!

Found this doing an internet search for some place unique to stay at in St. Paul. Very different and unique and very relaxing sitting on the Mississippi River looking at the skyline of St. Paul. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again. Also, enjoyed visiting with a very outgoing host. It's not everyday you get to sleep on...

The room was comfortable, quaint, cozy, and definitely unique. Liz was super nice! The breakfasts were excellent. I was hesitant about staying on a boat because I can get motion sickness. But I never felt it move once.

Thank you for your wonderful review! Yes, winter is great and all but summer is the BEST here on the river! Order a pizza in, bring a bottle of wine (or whatever) and watch the world float by! Hopefully, I'll see you again soon! Liz Miller, Innkeeper/owner

We really enjoyed our stay at the Covington Inn! This is a boat, so don't expect high speed internet and flat screen televisions. It is a really cute B&B that truly has wonderful character. We stayed in the Mate's Quarters (the cheapest room) and it was the perfect size for the two of us. The flooring was heated in the...
