The hotel is very conveniently located for a visit to Mayo Clinic. That was the biggest plus as it is directly located in the subway system. I stayed in hotels that were a block or two away and used the shuttle. It was more expensive but that in the end saved me a lot of hassle. I stayed in a...

Very nice hotel.....extremely convenient for all things Mayo-oriented. Hotel has direct access to Mayo's subway system and is convenient to use for undesirable weather outside. Room rates are a little high for the luxury level of the hotel but rates are for the convenience of the location. Be wary of some of the additional hotel fees that are typical for...

great service from Linda in Salute and John and Steve at front desk. They remembered me from prior trips and were friendly and helpful. They accommodated every request I had and clearly showed that the customer came first.

Generally a nice hotel with clean rooms, but for the price I would expect that. However, they like to charge extra fees. $19 for valet parking, or park yourself a block away for $16. Pet fee of $75, plus pet fee tax of $11. 2 bottles of water waiting in the room, $3 each. Cable TV movies more fees. You...

Dave, thank you for your feedback on your recent stay. My apologies the thermostat was not working in your room, I have shared this with our Engineering team. Kind regards, Tamala

The basics of any hotel stay were met - it was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel seemed dated, worn. The very best amenity is that it is so close to the Mayo Clinic. I was in town for a medical conference, so the location was great. The kids enjoyed the pool area, which was reasonably maintained....

The Rochester Marriott is an average hotel with an above average location if you are working/going to the Mayo Clinic. The concierge floor of the hotel is the only reason I gave this hotel 3 stars instead of 2 stars (if there was a 2.5 option I would have checked that option instead). I was in the area for work,...

My wife and I stayed at the Rochester Marriot Mayo Clinic Area for seven nights during her recent Mayo Clinic visit. Everything was top-notch from the housekeeping (which was most excellent - we stayed on the 9th floor and our housekeeper was just great!) to the valet parking service to the concierge lounge. Everybody was extra friendly and just exceptionally...

The unfortunate part about staying in Rochester is that there are no good hotel options. Everything is pedestrian/sub-standard 3 star hotels. I guess when in Rochester you just need a room, frills are not required. With that being said this is your standard "road warrior" special, no frills basic accommodation. The room was reasonably clean the service adequate, the hotel...

The room was beautiful. Great shower. 2 sinks . love the bedding, pillows and down comforter. Staff was amazing. The location is downtown next to the clinic, on Peace Plaza and across the street from a nice shopping center with a Scandinavian store.

Very convinient when visiting Mayo clinic due to the location, connected by subways and skyways to everything in the center. Handheld showers can be fitted to the wallfitted one's with a call to the reception. Spacious rooms and you can put whatever you want in the fridges, they are empty and the guests fill them up with whatever they like,...
