The Rochester Marriott Mayo Clinic Area is the best place to stay when visiting Rochester. I come here very frequently on business and am constantly impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. They go out of their way to make sure my stay is worry-free. 5 stars from this customer!

The people at the Rochester Marriott Mayo Clinic are great. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable with easy access to great food and shopping just a few steps away (or via pedestrian subway).

Had an overnight stay after visiting the exquisite Gunderson House in Kenyon. Have stayed here previously for business with IBM but most seem to stay for the location across from the Mayo Clinic. Nicely located.

This truly is the best choice for a modern hotel that is at the entrance to the clinic. That being said, it lacks intelligence of design which is hard to understand given Marriott's vast experience. We had a two bed concierge room on the 9th (top) floor. It was recently remodeled and up to date with a huge TV and... More

I wish to commend Frontdesk Supervisor Mandy for her exceptional, smart, and thoughtful service. I needed a private space for a brief meeting and had barely walked into the lobby area to assess possible options, when Mandy greeted me warmly and offered to be of assistance. She listened to me and the particular parameters with which I had to work,... More

With this hotel being near Mayo Clinic I know that is why the price is higher ...BUT ....I still expected better than average. You are mostly dealing with people with medical issues and the hotel experience should be above and beyond. We arrive on a morning flight and went to the hotel before check in time they were very nice... More

Unfortunately, I have had to stay at this property two times since my review back in May. My review then was based on one stay that was good and the staff was accommodating - they had to move my room because it smelled like smoke and they did it quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, the last 2 times I've stayed, things... More

Superb staff, and lovely rooms. A real plus is being right across the street from Mayo clinic. Also a wonderful outdoor patio restaurant. I cannot say enough nice things about their exceptional staff. Everyone goes beyond the standard and with a lot of Minnesota nice attitude. Will stay again!

Location does not get any better. Convenient to all Rochester has to offer from shopping, dining, nightlife, and medical facilities. Staff was exceptional no matter where we were. Concierge, front desk, bar, housekeeping all did their part in welcoming you to the property. Parking if you don't use valet can be a pain to walk to and from. Great pool... More

We were upgraded to the Concierge level without requesting it, very nice touch! We paid our reservation rate and I was impressed by this courtesy. If you stay in the facility and want to pay a little more, I would highly recommend the Concierge Level. You will always have a clean room, friendly staff and the location can't be beat!
