The location of this hotel and the price make it a good place to stay for Mayo Clinic patients. Keep in mind the price you pay here versus other close hotels and it's hard to beat. You get shampoo and bar soap so bring your own conditioner, lotion or other things. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy....

We stayed one night with our 14 year old son for a hockey tourney. The hotel is downtown and close to everything, but nothing fancy. It is old and outdated…just ok. We had a couple of drinks and appetizers in the downstairs restaurant…again just ok. The hospital helicopter landed twice in the middle of the night, which I get is...

We stayed in one of the suites when when we were staying for tests at Mayo. Worked well with a small refrig, microwave, coffee pot, table with chairs, and sofa and chair. We could have our daughter visit with us and were very comfortable. It was fairly clean, could have used a good vacuum under the sofa and chairs. Bathroom...

We spent almost two weeks here with friends while one was at the Mayo Clinic. The most postivie thing is once you are there you do not have to go outside until you leave. The Kahler Inn is attached to the clinic and downtown Rochester via underground and overhead covered and heated/air conditioned walkways. The Inn had two garages under...

We had to move to the Kahler from the Residence Inn when my husband had to stay longer for testing in early November. The room was large...with lots of empty space. It had a King bed, a dresser with TV and bedside chest. There was a sofa, but no end tables coffee table, desk area..thus, there was no where to...

From the staff to the rooms, just perfect. We drove what was supposed to be a 5 hour drive but due to snow turned into a 9 hour ordeal. Arrived in the wee hours of the morning exhausted. The security guard put my patient into a wheelchair and escorted him to the room while I parked in the overflow parking....

This is a pleasant hotel in an extremely convenient location if you are a patient, or family member of a patient, receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic or Hospital. Front desk staff is exceptional and treated all guests quickly and efficiently. That being said, I was quickly disappointed to then find out that the free parking that is advertised by...

Can't beat the location to the Mayo area. It's right in the middle of it. Check in is pleasant. All seems to be in order there. The breakfast is above average of any of the other hotel chains that offer breakfast. So get your start in the morning there. BIG pillows. That's a plus also.

My husband and I had an excellent experience at the Kahler Inn. The restaruant/bar was friendly and accommodating. The hotel staff helped us with receiving a fax while there. Breakfast was wonderful! The rooms were spacious and clean. We were within walking distance to everything we needed and wanted! My only complaint is the beds were hard. I would highly...
