Hotel was newly opened and the entrance outside was still not presentable. There were also roadworks making it difficult to access. The location is good, however, pretty close to the airport (not AT the airport or next, don't be fooled by the name) and with tram to the centre of the city. Also not a bad neighbourhood overall, with the convenient bakery, Italian restaurant, mini market. The good thing about the hotel being new though was that everything in the room was in very good condition, no complaints about that. The lounge was also quite nice to sit and hang around but the people behind the bar, the reception, and in general the staff were really as of they could not be bothered to do their job. 3 or 4 times trying to issue an invoice full of mistakes, getting a glass or bottle of water had to be an adventure every time, and the worse part was the check-in where they had not controlled everything on their booking system, they insisted that more should be paid on location (erroneously but they had all the attitude) and when asking to charge an empty phone to show them the payment proof and all agreements it was like the biggest burden for them!

Reception (specifically the ladies 12/02/23 late morning) could use some training in hospitality… Other than that, this B&B Genève is a clear value. Very new, it was built with the traveler’s need in mind - all that you need, nothing you don’t to keep the price law even in expensive Geneva. Above average breakfast. My husband and I chose the hotel for the proximity to the airport, and because we had a few hours the next day because our flight was at 6pm, we saw that there was shuttle bus service to depart and return from the airport. Great option for sleeping when the flight is very early. The room is small, but we only stay in airport hotels to sleep. Alright then. The advantage is that we don't have to wait for check-in time to get into the room, which was made available in the morning and is not something I usually see around the world.
