The Golden Lantern is my first choice when spending the night in Red Wing. My sister and I have visited for the past 3 years for shopping and fun. We always appreciate the charming accommodations and wonderful ambiance of the Inn. The English Tudor exterior is awesome, but you need to step inside to see the wood craftsmanship detail of...

Great B-n-B! We stayed 2 nights, tried two different rooms. We booked a massage, in our room. We had a very relaxing time. The food was excellent, the owners gracious.

This was our second visit to Golden Lantern. Our first visit was wonderful and we weren't disappointed with our return trip! The B&B is so cozy and comfortable. Pat was great with restaurant suggestions and other accommodations. We timed our trip with the fall colors which were spectacular in this river town of Red Wing, MN. The get-the-kinks-out massage in...

We spent one fabulous night at the Golden Lantern Inn in Red Wing, MN. Pat and Gary are excellent hosts. The house is rich in history and detail. Pat is very knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area, also. We were very happy to meet their dog, Kobe, too. He's a wonderful addition to the experience. The...

It felt as though we had stepped back in time... Pat greeted us at the door, showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Fresh, homemade cookies awaited us in our room, and there were snacks and a large selection of hot and cold beverages available to us as well as a refrigerator and microwave in the hallway for...

The Golden Lantern is an exemplary establishment that will give you an experience to treasure. Pat is a gracious hostess making you feel extremely welcome, yet respecting the individual need for solitude and privacy – she has a special way of providing that perfect balance. The tudor home is absolutely breathtaking. It's not your stereotypical "foofy" B&B. The antiques and...

The third floor "Hideaway" room was just that - a little get away from the busy world we live in. The king bed was very nice and the bedding very soft. There was a fireplace in the room, but in October we did not need it. The cookies upon arrival were delicious and the breakfast was really special. The gardens...

Everything you could want in a B&B experience. Period furnishings were a step back in time. Room was quiet, cozy, clean and romantic. A delicious breakfast served in a beautiful garden room setting. And hosts that were warm, friendly and helpful. The outdoor fireplace and bedtime snacks were the perfect end to a beautiful summer night. We loved this place...

We selected this B & B based on its website - very complete and had great pictures and descriptions of the room offerings. It was easy to make our reservations. We were graciously and professionally greeted upon our arrival and shown to our rooms. Our hostess asked about our plans for our visit and quickly offered to make necessary reservations...
