Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The owners are a friendly couple - helpful with local information on restaurants and places to see.
Their premises are on the ridge with amazing views out over the valley to the coast ... Rooms are well appointed with basic toaster, kettle & mini fridge , which is all you need when there are cafes and restaurants within a 5 - 8 min drive.
Sunrise is magnificent from these lofty heights ... Perfect for my one night stay ... There is an abundance of bird life and the sunrise from my room was beautiful ... They have a wonderful organic vege & herb garden - that they supply to the local co-op ( I like that sense of community )...

We stayed there on the 11th March 2017. Had our own parking space, amazing views, clean and modern facilities, and a wonderful breakfast, home cooked to our liking. We arrived much earlier than anticipated and were still catered for as if we arrived on time. easy to find, close to many wedding venues. Absolutely would recommend!

We were in the area to visit a restaurant and to also chech out accomodation for an upcoming Wedding reception nearby. 1 minute down the road to THE LAURELS where the venue is located. Lovely people, spotless and great value ! My wife was impressed! The other reviews are correct.

We were looking for somewhere our very well behaved little dog would be genuinely welcome and we found it. We did not have to compromise on quality ourselves. Truly delightful and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay somewhere with great hospitality.

This was a last minute booking and we were pleasantly surprised. Comfortable bed, and everything you need for a short stay. The owner, Brigitte was very friendly and helpful. The antique store next door was worth looking at and sampling their coffee and scones. We'll be back. 😀

The Lyndon suite has a really nice family room attached to the bedroom. The ensuite is also roomy and has been well refurbished.

The whole house is very clean and inviting. The gardens add to the whole homely feel.

Peter and Bridgette are great host and provided good information about things to do. They also apparently assist people do some of the bigger walks in the area by dropping guests off and then driving cars to the end of the walk for guests. Would be a good thing to do.

The breakfasts are a good start to the day.

We normally take our own pillows with us when we stay away from home. There is no pillow like your own.

My husband and I were at my sons wedding 2 km from Lyndon Lodge so it became our base. We found our room and ensuite very clean and perfect for our night there. There were all the basic necessities and more with a beautiful view from the balcony 10/10. The owners were extremely friendly and the stay there topped off a perfect weekend. We hope to return for a longer stay soon.

Stayed here June 24th after visiting local Info Centre. They were right !! Well priced, convenient to other towns and tourist sights. Bridgette and Peter are very informative and eagerly offer their guest all the local tips. All is good here. Another aspect we appreciated, "the with or without breakfast pricing". As our breakfast requirements are minimal, the choice suited us both.
With time constraints, the overnight and two days in the area was far too short. However, next year we may return to the area and would gladly stay here again.

Stayed here last week after passing while in the area. Very clean and tidy. Hosts very welcoming and attentive. Only minor negative, as I am a light sleeper, was the road noise. This subsidies later in the evening. All in all, a very nice stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Peter and Bridgettte were very welcoming and informative hosts.
The rooms were spotless and very well equipped. The bathroom was very modern and spacious.
The views from the verandah were amazing.
We used this stop as a 2 day base to explore the Sunshine Coast and hinterland.
