Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is a beautifully well restored weatherboard set in Bell at the base of the Bunya Mountains. The view from the veranda is lovely during the day and the sunsets superb.
The food is just so good, quality produce cooked with respect and at such reasonable prices.
The staff are friendly & efficient. Do yourself a favour & drop in for a meal if you are passing, you won’t regret it,

We stayed overnight at the Bell view hotel when we visited the area to attend the Big Skies Music Festival.
The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The small room and shared bathroom facilities are fine when you're only using the room to sleep in.
Hosts were friendly and the meals and service at the pub very good
We plan to be back again to stay next year.

Newly reopened under new management I just ate here on the 3rd night it has been open and was pleasantly surprised but the quality of the meal. The dining room catered to me as a single as well as numerous families and couples with prompt and friendly service. You also would be hard pressed to find a prettier sunset than from the veranda out front.

They have meals and takeaways. The pizzas were popular, coming out from the kitchen at quite a pace. The chef has a reputation for doing some fancy stuff by the look of the pasta dishes. Seems to be quite busy. Have a selection of beers on tap. Friendly service.

A last minute change of plans had us staying at the Bellview. Room was clean and had a great bed (Room 4). The Publican, Michael, was a fantastic host. Prices very reasonable and food was great. Will definitely be staying here again. Only a few rooms, so pays to book for busy times.

The hotel has very good meals which can be eaten on the first floor verandah with a great view of the sunset to the west. There is a lot of history in this old hotel and although undergoing refurbishment, the upstairs rooms are still rustic but with very affordable rates. There is a shared bathroom and the rooms are not for travellers that expect 3-4 stars. A breakfast of cereals and toast is available for you to help yourself, along with coffee or tea. If you are looking for a nights accommodation and are unable to find it in the larger nearby towns due to the mining boom Bell is a quiet alternative. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.

The pub is located in the main street and three of us dropped in for a meal in the dining room which is only open Friday and Saturday evenings but they also serve meals in the rear beer garden. As well as rump and T-bone steaks (which come in large and small sizes), there was adequate selection on the menu and there was also a chalk board listing a couple of specials (the specials change each week). The meal quality is pub-style and the quantity was enough to satisfy a country-sized appetite such that we were all satisfied with the food we got. Service was OK for a country pub.

What an absolute gem ! The Bellview hotel in Bell is a true country pub. From the moment that we first walked in we were made to feel very welcome. The owners Robert and Kaye are to be congratulated on their establishment. The beer is cold but served with warmth and good humour . The meals are delicious and a good size. The surroundings are clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back , and have no problem in guaranteeing that you will be completely satisfied.

From the moment you pull up in front of the pub you know you're in for a real Aussie experience. As you walk in the door you step into an old bar- characteristically Australian- and you immediately feel at home. The fantastic meals can be eaten in the small dining room behind the bar - a fire blazing placidly in winter- the voices of people in the nearby bar echoing into the room. Not once should anyone feel alone or scared whilst at this hotel- it is simply wonderful.
