Stayed here for a family event. I came 900 miles and was excited for my stay. The room was clean however extremely dated and in need of some general upkeep. It was a non smoking room however it was very obvious that it had not been in the past. Bed was comfy & shower was hot but couldn't understand the...

I've been to this hotel multiple times and generally enjoyed my stay. However the past two visits an annoying thing happened. Both times, in the middle of the night, the soap dispenser in the washroom fell off the wall. The first time is was the one that was in the shower, dispensing body wash and shampoo. It fell down into...

This whole site needs improvement from its hotel to its restaurants to its casino. The hotel beds are so small they are barely over a twin size. We waited 1.5 hours for cold food that had to be returned. Also if you can't tolerate cigarette smoke, don't even bother. It's ridiculously smokey.

On January 6 I booked a romance package at the Shooting Star. I was very proud of myself for planning such a special day for our first Valentines as a married couple. King Jacuzzi Suite, bottle of Chanpagne, 1 hr couples massage and $20 off dinner for $200. On February 11 I called to confirm the 11am massage time and...

Had a great time, went on boxing day to relax after Christmas. Service was great, staff are always friendly. Keys didn't work on the rooms so my husband and neighbour had to wake me at midnight to get in but otherwise it was great. In Canada you don't get to gamble, drink and smoke all at once so it's a...

Wow, this place is a pieced together hotel/casino. First and last time we will be there. The main hotel is very far away the regular rooms. So get used to a long walk thru the skyways, convention center to get to the pool/casino/food areas. Pool was pretty good except the decking around the pools were filthy, in need of a...

We stayed at the hotel in 2006. It fits the purpose. The Mustang Lounge is a good bar between casino and hotel for a beer and cocktails. A little gambling in between for fun! Visiting family once a year a trip to Shooting Star is a must!

The room beside us had a party going all night long. We didn't complain because each time they left to go gamble we assumed the party was over however it didn't take long for the party to come back and resume. At seven in the morning we were going down for breakfast and we stopped in at the front desk...

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We hope that all of our guests have a peaceful and relaxing stay with us. With a call to the front desk, Security would have warned the guests next door. If it continued, they would be asked to leave. We apologized that you did not have a restful stay and...

Spent this past Saturday night at the casino. Roosters were playing so we decided to hit up the Mustang Lounge and drink and listen. We sat there from 8:00 until 1:00. Had to go the bar and get our own drinks every time we wanted one. Terrible service and very slow. They missed out on lots of tip money we...

Let me start off by saying that we have stayed here quite a few times in the last 4 years and with every visit it seems that staff gets more rude and the room prices keep going up. To begin with when my husband checked in the front desk lady was very rude and he was made to feel unwelcome....
