Disappointing stay. Granted, it was only for a weekend. Our room was located on the ground floor in the main lodge area. We had our dog with us and this is the area they allow them which was fine.
Our shower had plaster falling from...More
The 'physical plant' is tired, but many such primarily ski resorts are used hard by the ski crowd in the winter months. Room was okay. King bed was okay. Room lighting left a lot to be desired - no light at desk for example. Spendy...More
We stayed at the Town homes, which I would rate as average. I have stayed here before in Poplar Homes, way better than these THs. There is no lake on the property but a roaring poplar river with along the famous Superior Hiking Trail.

Absolutely, great time to ski up there. I've skied into April up there and the snow is nice, weather is a little warmer. Staying at the ski in/out town homes is a great advantage at Caribou Highlands. We always start the crockpot before we leave and by lunch time we ski right back to the door and enjoy a great meal, rest and back on the Mtn. Hope this helps.

"No real mountain views from the Lodge rooms. Condos/THs probably a better choice."
