This is probably the best place to stay in Lutsen. I usually go to Lutsen every year for new years, and Lutsen Resorts continues to be the best. The location is perfect, the staff is great, and the accommodations were very comfortable. Would recommend this to not just friends going on a Ski trip, but for families as well.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Lutsen Resort. We stayed in a newer, completely clean, condo. Plenty of room. The lodge has a good size pool and hot tub, game room and two options for restaurants. Hamburgers were great, most of our food was good. Lodge is old, charming, rugged, and welcoming.

This was our second Christmas stay at Lutsen Resort. We go there to have a white Christmas and for the outdoor activities. We stay in a small unit in the Poplar River condos. Pros: Wonderful service, from Bob at the front desk, to Adam with activities, to Perihan and others in the dining room. Food is fantastic, no matter what...

We stayed as a family of 4 (one tween and one teen) at one of the log cabins. 2 bedrooms/one full bathroom with doors, living area and deck overlooking Lake Superior. It comes with a basic full kitchen. We were nervous not to be on the ski in/ski out hill like Eagle Ridge or Caribou Highlands but I just say...

It's truly beautiful up here, and many of the people who work here go out of their way to help you. Unfortunately, there seems to be a disconnect somewhere. Our shower leaked into the kitchen ceiling, and wasn't fixed at all, even though this happened on the first of three days. The stove was outdated, with four crooked (and seemingly...

We absolutely loved this place! It's just so picturesque and what it lacks in modern features it makes up for in atmosphere. We arrived the second day after the first proper dump of snow, and we decided to stay in the lodge itself, so that we didn't have to wander around after dinner. The room itself was traditional, and by...

Didn't stay there but had a lovely lunch in a rustic setting in full view of the water, with good food service on a table with a tablecloth. The property had canoes, kids getting flyfishing instruction, picnic tables, an indoor pool and a game room, complimentary coffee, and an outdoor porch with rocking chairs.

We stayed in a condo. Reservation confirmation say lakeview, if you could see through the trees you could see the lake. Room was not cleaned the 2nd day so we had no coffee on the day we left. ...............................................................................................................

I was there for a wedding and stayed at the main lodge. The first thing that I noticed was there was no mini refrigerator, for the price of the rooms there should be a refrigerator. Second I noticed the tiny tv VCR/DVD player. I tried to sit on the edge of the bed trying to figure out what the hell...

A frequent repeat fall destination while on Minnesota's north shore of Lake Superior. Great for relaxation and solitude. Cozy comfort condo with full kitchen facilities. The units are literally just steps from the lakeshore. 3 miles from Lutsen Lodge built in 1885, and its dining room. The food is delicious, innovative, and in the Scandinavian tradition. Try the Norwegian eggs...
