Stone Mill Suites and the surrounding town of Lanesboro was absolutely fabulous! Looking back at our 8 day road trip, staying here for one night was one of the best experiences. The hotel is gorgeous through and through, high quality, details covered, and WOW Rick the innkeeper was like a friend we hadn't seen in years. I can't speak highly...

Great place for a quiet getaway. We stayed in the Forest Suite. It had plenty of room, nice amenities - mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a little bar sink. We loved the jacuzzi after a day long hike at Beaver Creek Valley State Park. The owners were friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I stayed in the Buffalo Bill Suite. One we would highly recommend. The living room includes two couches and a large flat screened TV. The bedroom is a separate room. The suite holds a smaller sitting room with a gas fireplace, small table and chairs. The kitchen area has a full refrigerator with freezer, large kitchen sink,...

Each of the rooms in this beautiful building have been restored. Limestone walls, large wooden beams in ceiling. We stayed in "The Grain Room". It had the auger used for grain in its original spot in our room! Awesome. They also have breakfast in the morning during busy season. Cereal , toast , waffles... We were issued coupons for local...

We wanted a quiet little getaway for a few days between Christmas and New Year's. Tried to get into a different hotel, but they were closed for the holidays. They recommended the Stone Mill to us. Our first night we were practically alone in the building; in fact we were practically alone in the town. There was nothing open for...

Wonderful and unique destination. We will come back again. The staff is friendly and the accommodations are inviting...from both a guy's and gal's perspective. :) We stayed in the Forest and it was warm, quiet, and snugly. Breakfast was delicious.

Stayed in the Buffalo Bill Suite which was spacious, comfortable and the temperature was perfect for sleeping. Fun breakfast included, great hospitality and location made it easy to access the rest of the city for other activities. Stayed here for a quilting retreat and loved the accommodations. We will be returning!

Stone Mill Hotel and Suites was a wonderful experience! Stayed 2 nights in a suite recently for a Quilting retreat at Cheryl's Garden Fabric. The suite, the Buffalo Bill Room, was spacious, beautifully appointed historic mill with a B&B style and the benefits of a hotel. Large living area with fireplace and separate area for refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker...

My husband and I stayed for 1 evening and have never felt more welcomed anywhere! The innkeepers are nothing short of extraordinary. It was my first time back to Lanesboro in over 23 years as my GreatGrandmother had a home there. We reminisced with the innkeeper like we were family. The room was more than comfortable, loved the loft area...

Took my parents to Lanesboro for a weekend of shopping and biking. The location was very convenient for both. Loved all the little extras like a safe place to store the bikes at night. The rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. Enjoyed being able to walk through and see the rooms that were not yet occupied. One of my...
