Stayed here at the last minute. Made the reservation online the day we got there and they were prompt in responding. The house is in prime condition and super clean and Nancy and Dave are the consummate hosts. We enjoyed talking to them about their past and present and about the area. They made arrangements for an Amish tour for...

My husband and I spent the night at the Habberstad House after a full day fly fishing. We were exhausted so it felt great to be someplace where we could truly relax. Nancy and Dave take beautiful care of the house and their guests. We sat out on the little balcony off our second floor room and enjoyed the quiet...

My husband and I went to Lanesboro for a biking adventure away. We stayed at the Habberstad House and were very pleased. The innkeepers, Nancy and Dave, were most hospitable and breakfast was super delicious. Would highly recommend this B&B!

Everything about the Habberstad House is first-rate. The house and grounds are spotless. The Innkeepers have restored this Victorian home beautifully, and the gardens lovely, even early in the season. Nancy and Dave, the innkeepers, are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was ample and delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing getaway relatively close to home. We stumbled on the Habberstad House and it was a great find! We were the only guests in the house the night we were there (a Sunday night in early May - not exactly high season) and Nancy was nothing but welcoming and wonderful. She gave...

Nancy is the best host! She has a great sense of humor and a wealth of knowledge about the history of her home and the Lanesboro area. She meets you at the door with an adult beverage and room tour. The breakfast was fantastic with fun conversation. Our trip was to celebrate a "historic" birthday and staying in this great...

This inn exceeded our highest expectations. Squeaky clean, charmingly decorated, comfortable beds, quiet, and serves some of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced at a B&B. We had the Amish Room which takes up the whole top floor of the house - a huge wood-paneled room with sitting area and DVDs, a dining area with fridge, 2 queen beds...

My husband and I arrived for check-in on a Friday and were met with friendly greetings aling with wine, cheese, meat and crackers. We stayed in the Scandinavian room which was cheery, open, roomy, and comfortable. With many windows and a door to a private deck, nature was welcomed into our space. Dave and Nancy provided tasty breakfasts and enjoyable...

The Habberstad House is one of the best B&B's we have stayed at. This place is so clean that you could eat off the floor. Nancy is a wonderful host, and Lena the dog is sweet. Breakfast here is pure gourmet. If you find yourself in Lanesboro, this is the place to stay.

Our first time here. Nancy and Dave are great hosts - warm and inviting. The bed was so comfy and the room was very spacious. The porch swing was a treat with the sweet smell from the Magnolia tree. Breakfast was so delicious - apfel kuchen(?), bacon, almond torte, yogurt with fruit, juice, abundant coffee - we did not eat...
