We came through on a tour of Little House sites. Walnut Grove doesn't have a place to stay so we looked in the vicinity. The owner was very nice and helpful and gave us 2 rooms down at the end of the motel that adjoined, one for us and one for our kids. The dead bolt is only accessible from...

Since there are not many motels nearby I was relieved that this one had a room open. I was even happier when we checked...

My family and I (with two daughters ages 3 and 7) went to visit Walnut Grove for a couple of days. We stayed at the Lamberton motel because it is the only hotel within 30 miles of Walnut Grove with king size beds, and we wanted that (we like to keep our daughters between us to prevent them from getting...
