Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed for three nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. It was well presented and clean. We were greeted warmly and pleased to be advised that there was secure parking at no extra cost. It was a short walk to the lifts, from both the car park and our room, with next to no waiting time. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom luxuries were provided, however it would have been nice to have refillable pump bottles, for ease of access, as well as sustainability. Tea and coffee facilities were stocked, but limited instant coffee, only plunger variety. Overall, a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

During a recent visit to the Redland Bay area I realised it was getting too late to get home (NSW) after my meeting…so needed somewhere to stay over.
A few phone calls later & I had booked into what the locals call the “Alex Hills” hotel!!!
What a surprise…well established “resort style” hotel, nicely located on a large block, easy access, undercover parking. Reception staff helpful & friendly without being “too casual.” My room was very comfortable, well appointed & 10/10 for cleanliness. So….thank you for a much needed & restful “unplanned” stay.
Dinner in the dining room was excellent & being a woman travelling on her own, I felt very comfortable (as it well should be, but sometimes isn’t.) Thank you. I’ll be back🦋

We stayed here as we were attending a birthday party in one of their convention rooms. Accommodation was great. Room was spacious, clean and well equipped.
Lost a star - nearly two - because of the breakfast.
We had noticed a lot of room service food was barely touched and discovered why.
We ate in the bistro and ordered simple poached eggs & bacon plus hash browns with long blacks on the side. Eggs were hard which made for dry eating. Bacon was cold and hash browns were undercooked. To really ruin the experience, my long black was filtered coffee.
My advice? Check out and take a drive into Cleveland and eat at one of their many good cafes.

Room was lovely however we couldn't stay in it after 7.30am because of incredibly noisy drilling and building works in room next door. Hotel didn't seem to be full but we were put in room next to the building works. When I asked for manager to call me about it I heard nothing..I was then not able to put a review on booking.com

Our second time at this hotel. We love it. All new interiors, big clean rooms. Quiet. Easy parking. We were able to pay $25 to get a late checkout at 1pm.... which was very much appreciated on New Years Day. We will definitely be recommending to friends and staying again.

The drinks and food took forever to come out. The staff was rude and incompetent. Waitress completely forgot our drinks and brought them out poorly made. Staff couldn’t keep track of our food and kept asking us if things came out.

If you go for the roast of the day it is mostly cold as it is sliced and put on an uncovered supposed heat tray. I would suggest you ask to have the meat cut there and then. Staff manning the counter not very helpful on requesting gluten free options. There aren’t any. They also do not do roast potatoes. Hello it’s a roast lunch, why not?

This hotel is excellent. Spacious, clean and modern. The receptionist let the hotel down. Very matter of a fact, nothing more, nothing less. Couldn’t wait to get back to her phone. However, the cleaning staff were helpful and very pleasant.
Even though there was a concert at the venue, we didn’t hear the concert or guests leaving the venue.
A very pleasant stay.

We stayed in room 213. The room was so clean & the beds were super comfortable. The exceptional service from the hotel accommodation staff was fabulous, even the housekeeping staff were so nice. A big shout out to Saskia at reception. She is the nicest, most friendliest person I have come across in a long time & is an asset to the company.

Pretty good. New large king suites, good gym, restaurant and live entertainment. There is enough separation of accommodation from the main bar so no issues there. I think the best alternative for transit to north stradbroke island via Cleveland ferry. No quiet space in public areas if you needed to do any laptop or business while having a beer. Overall 4 star and good value.
