We Found this to be a very attractive place. Nestled among some trees and next to the St. Louis River. A nice river walk around the campground. All of this right in the city, so close to Canal Park. Bathrooms were well kept. I would return for sure

Tent sites #72 and #73 are actually the "space" between the walkways to the bathrooms. They are not tent sites at all. They let us camp on the grass space "behind" the bathrooms because I would not pay $30 to camp on a gravely/weed spot. The grass that was there was a three foot strip next to the sidewalk. At...

I don't know why anyone would give it a bad rating. The staff was friendly, we stayed here for labor day weekend. It was a small quiet campground. I enjoyed it , we tent camped and it was perfect. We didn't feel like we were too far from anything , but still away from a city feel. It's right next...

We stayed here for 3 nights this past weekend and we enjoyed it. When we arrived we were a little surprised by the size of our space (#37); it seemed small. After unpacking our tent and supplies we realized the size was perfect for the two of us. There is not a ton of privacy but I think you should...

We booked this site because of some of some of the reviews. The ones I based my decision to stay were not accurate. I found this overpriced, dirty, crowded and just generally disappointing. The sites are so close to the neighbors so hardly have ropm to move. No grills on firepits so you can't grill on the!m. Trashs cans were...

My husband and I had made a reservation here for the 4th of July weekend. We reserved a campsite for a tent and we were told it would be semi private. We drove over 4 hours to arrive at the campground, completely excited! Went into the office to check in, to find out that our "campsite" was basically right outside...

We had tent spot #75 and it was great. Far enough from the neighbors and a short walk to the bathroom. Very woodsy and a lovely walk to the river nearby. We brought our bikes and the trails were good also. Its about 6 miles from downtown Duluth which was perfect. Bathrooms were campground tidy and the water is hot....

We reserved four nights at this campground based on the great reviews..."bathrooms are clean and modern"....."bathrooms are newer and very bright and clean". The treed grounds were pleasant and clean. The young man who checked us in was friendly and helpful. BUT the bathrooms were very dirty upon our arrival on Labor Day and were not cleaned the following day....

We have stayed at over 42 campgrounds around the US since January and I would rate this one in the top third. The location is close to the Visitor's Center, Canal Park and the Skyline Drive. there was construction going on but the manager told us about it before we arrived and gave us directions to avoid it. She was...

Stayed here the end of June, to support our son who was running in Grandma's marathon. Campground is close to everything, 5 minutes to the bridge and attractions around it, 30-45 minutes to Amnicon and Pattison Falls...yet the campground feels like it is no where near a city, with a nice view of the river. While the campground perimeter is...

“Do not choose or have assigned tent sites #72 or #73! They are not tent sites at all! They are the space between the sidewalk and bathrooms. Not worth the money. If you have a small camper, like a small pop up, it may work as a camper spot.”
