I have to admit up front, I am a review reader yet also an adventurer. So... when I read the reviews about the Nordic Inn, I was a bit skeptical given the mixed nature of the public opinion. Once I called to make a reservation and spoke with Steinarr (the owner) I decided to book a room for the evening...

The inn is a great idea, a wonderful potential for adventure. Nice town, nice people for the most part. Unfortunately the inn is getting a little run down and needs some upkeep. The innkeeper is ok for a short evening but gets a little overbearing and stays loud. We preferred the food at the place down the street after seeing...

The host was awesome he did a great job at keeping my girlfriend and I entertained with some Viking entertainment. We were there during the week and were the only ones so we missed out on some of the group activities. The food was amazing for supper and breakfast. The main thing is the Nordic Inn truly goes the distance...

The worst part was the brown water, the toilet seat that falls off and the shower curtain rods not attached and falling down. We did not use the hot tub once we saw the condition and water. We arrived at 4 PM and the hotel was not prepared for us. We were told that we would be treated to an...

My new husband and I had spent part of our honeymoon here and had a fantastic time. We were the only guests in the inn so there were no games, but Steinarr sat with us most of the time and we greatly enjoyed the conversation and beer and mead, and the food was incredible! I can't tell you the last...

This is not a vacation, it's truly an escape. From the time you pull the large iron chain to gain entrance with your password... to saying good bye, you are in another place and time. You will be swept away as you dress, eat, sleep, and even pay for your mead the way the Vikings did. The Innkeeper is a...

The Kraze E Viking was totally great! He is an awsome host, cook and knows viking history. We learned a lot from him. The rooms are great!! The game was fun as long as you have an open mind and time. The place is a lot for one man to do, but we felt Steinarr does the best he can....

Walking up to the front door I knew that this was not you're ordinary B&B. The facility itself was beautiful and authentic. Steinarr, the Crazy Viking, showed service in viking proportions at every level. The food was fresh and delicious. Stienarr engaged in lots of witty bantor-- if you have no sense of humor then do not go here. The...

We had a group of 12 that decided to do a 'Mystery' weekend - Sounds like fun right I guess depending on the individual - We are all a very fun group, enjoy or drinks, open minded. Ten of us had not a clue as to where we were going - We were told that check in was from 4...
