We stayed on a secret escapes deal that included two nights bed and breakfast, a bottle of prosecco, a three course dinner, afternoon tea and access to the pool and spa. We added supplements to be able to have steaks for dinner as well as a massage each in the spa. All in all it was great. Super friendly staff,...

We went to spend a relaxing night break booked through secret escapes. Hotel was lovely and beautifully decorated, but needed some attention in areas. Staff we friendly but very slow. Room was basic and dated, in need of some tlc. We used the gym, which sufficient and well equipped. Pool and spar are in the old Chapel and are stunning,...

We stayed here 24th and 25th October for our wedding anniversary through a deal on FB on myhotelbreak.com on a DBB basis. I read some reviews on here about rooms being old and dated so before our stay I emailed ahead requesting a nice room and asked a few other questions, Carrie was very efficient in replying and also sent...

We stayed at Shrigley Hall for one night during the October half-term holiday with our children (4 and 6). The staff went out of their way for us from beginning to end, and the customer care was second to none! They were so friendly and exceedingly welcoming of the children in what seemed a predominantly adult environment. The quality of...

This hotel feels as though it may have once had a heyday. The entrance hall is still grand and impressive and well kept, and the views beyond are spectacular. Beyond that the place is very much past its best. We had a feature double room, which was of a standard that I would expect from a pretty dreary B&B. Dingy,...
