We enjoyed the 3 night Thanksgiving Package 2016. First off, we loved hearing the waves crash on the shoreline just by opening our sliding glass door in the room. The hikes out to the point were a huge highlight. Bring boots to wade into the water if you like to hunt for rocks. The Thanksgiving Buffet was fantastic. I was...

Traveled up the north shore to this lodge, selected this place based of other reviewers and location of resort. Wife and I stayed here for two nights, free decent breakfast, Scandinavian style, but would have liked to see more selection. Room faced Lake Superior, had a great view of the sunrise every morning. Nice spot on a point to go...

We loved it. We like rustic and it was a terrific mix of rustic, relaxation, and woodsy-lodge. We have No interest in fancy-dancy. We opted for a king room with fireplace and sofa. It was wonderful, clean, and came with an outstanding view of Lake Superior. Bed was amazing! We had plans to sight see, but the place was so...

We stayed here while attending the Edmund Fitzgerald Memorial Beacon lighting at Split Rock Lighthouse. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake. Some of us enjoyed the pool, sauna, and hot tub. The beds were comfortable, service was fantastic, and love the location. After watching a spectacular sunrise, The breakfast smorgasbord hit the spot!...

Went up here on a. Last minute getaway. Called about 30 minutes out to see if they had rooms. Staff was more than accomodating. Restaurant lacked environment, and had a limited menu. But the view and accommodations are second to none. Certainly found our place for our next getaway. No reason to look anywhere else.

We had a girls trip at Cove Point this weekend! The weather was phenomenal. Blue sky and 50 degrees! Everything about Cove Point is top notch. The staff is amazing! They have a spin the wheel where you can win prizes from free drinks and dinner to comfy mittens. During the day, there is the option to decorate cookies. There...

There's rustic, and then there's rustic. I imagined that for $204.00/night rustic would be high quality rustic and not cheap rustic. The plusses: 1) Location. It's right on Lake Superior. 2) Rooms with a view also have a walk-out balcony with a view. 3) People and service were great. The negatives: 1) This is more old/cheap rustic. The kind of...

Everything about this Lodge is fabulous. The people, atmosphere, the delicious dinner (while high priced, well worth the 'treat', it was so scrumptious). I highly recommend Cove Point Lodge to everyone!

We got a room with a fireplace and view of the lake. Was nice. The only two things I would change would be the bed. I thought it was hard. And the breakfast had limited selection. The room was clean and the staff was friendly I would go back and recommend this place

We stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 bath Fjord Villa. It was clean and well provisioned. We were missing the menu for the Crossings restaurant which made ordering takeout a challenge, but let the staff know to help the next guests. We found out too late that the front desk will call if the Northern Lights are out, so keep...
