We tried to book in the Catlins farmstay but as they were full, we stayed in their Waikawa Waterside holiday house which is truly beautiful with views over the bay and it is even even closer to Porpoise Bay and Curio Bay for seeing the dolphins and seals. The house is modern and really luxurious with 3 bedrooms and a... More

June and Murray were very nice hosts in this special place in the middle of the Catlins. Clean, modern and very comfortable rooms in the setting of a beautiful and well kept garden situated next to the gravel road. We arrived a bit early but were welcomed with tea and pastry in the garden. Breakfast was very sumptuous and the... More

The BnB is perfect situated in the heart of the Catlins, and is therefore a perfect location to stay when traveling through this beautiful part of NZ. Nice, clean, spacious rooms, the hosts are very friendly. Penguin and dolphin spotting is close by!

nice location in beautiful gardens. friendly and helpful owners nice breakfast. The farmstay is reasonably close to curio bay, so you can watch the yellow eyed penguins come in at dusk and not having to drive in the dark afterwards!

We arrived at 24 December 2014 just before teatime. We were invited to have tea with homemade pie in the garden. June and Murray are wonderful hosts. Our breakfast in the morning, Christmas day, was overwhelming. And June just replied "o it is not much more than a regular breakfast". Next time we will definitely stay a bit longer to... More

Last Februari we stayed with June and Murray at their Waterside house. The beauty of this part of New Zealand comes together in the view over the bay, from their home. So peacefull, quiet and beautiful. We had the whole house to ourselves and we really enjoyed the supercomfy bed, wonderful kitchen, perfect bathroom and living. Everything was perfectly clean... When you enter the grounds of this "farm" you are amazed by the beautiful garden followed by your very comfortable room. The hosts were very attentive band the breakfast was to die for (many more and it might have been the case). The peace was welcome and the hospitality very homely
