A stay at the Queens Residence is an awesome experience. It's a trip back in history but with all the modern conveniences. Our stay in the Hoag room provided us with main floor accommodation and a dressing room with luxurious bathroom. Our hosts were gracious and fun. We look forward to another visit. In our planning stage my wife commented...

We are so glad that you found us and were able to enjoy your anniversary with us! It is one of my greatest pleasures to share the history of our B & B with others. Our 1700's travelers tavern and the ties to Greenfield Village and Henry Ford are truly special. We look forward to your return visit. Marla Queen,...

Very clean and lovely decorated rooms. The breakfasts were excellent and Marla and Joe were very gracious and welcoming. A very short walk to the downtown Ypsi area with plenty of good eats nearby. We plan to be back in town next March and will be staying here again.

We are so glad you found us and especially glad to know that you will be back next March! Thank you for your compliments on the breakfast and the décor of the inn. Even though Ypsi is a small town, we do have some very good restaurants within walking distance as you so kindly mentioned here. We look forward to...

Everything about the Queens Residence is terrific from the marvelously appointed bedrooms to the tavern in the basement. Loved it!! Breakfast was banana French toast with sausage. Yum! Our hosts joined us for great conversation and stories about the history. We also took a nice walk through the lovely neighborhood of historic homes.

This home is immaculate and filled with history. Our stay was comfortable and the morning meal was delicious. The hosts are gracious. The patio is pretty and Depot Town and as well as the downtown area are just a couple of blocks away. In both neighborhoods you can find interesting and delicious restaurants like Side Tracks and Aubrees. There is...

Thank you for your compliments about The Queen's Residence. We love sharing the history of our B & B with guests, and of course, our Colonial tavern is a rare gem! I am so glad that you enjoyed Ypsilanti as well as the inn. What many folks do not know is that Ypsilanti has the 3rd largest number of historic...

We happened across this absolute gem of a bed and breakfast on our drive from Chicago to Toronto. The hosts were both personable and professional, the breakfast was outstanding and the residence comfortable, classy and was just that special place we all hope we can find. Only regret we could only stay for one night. Highly, highly recommended. Thanks again...

For our first B and B experience, Marla and Joe have set the bar high! From the moment we were welcomed by Joe to the second we left, our visit was superb. Marla is an amazingly gifted decorator, chef and gardener. Every room is beautifully decorated, the breakfasts were always fresh and tasty, and the garden was our favorite place...

A review like this is the fuel that keeps an innkeeper going and committed. I can't think of a better compliment than a guest staying an extra night because they were loving their experience. Thank you so much. We are hoping that you will give other B & B's a chance, but do come back to ours. Marla Queen, owner/innkeeper

This was our second visit and we would not look elsewhere for when we return to Ypsi to visit family. The location is perfect and convenient, the home and courtyard are charming, luxurious, and inviting. The room is perfectly appointed, like a luxury hotel but with the comfort of being home (if your home is spotless and well decorated). The...

Oh good. It sounds like we can count on you as one of our "regulars". Having repeaters makes this business more like entertaining friends! I love the statement about being like a luxury hotel but with the comforts of home. We may just have to incorporate that into our website somewhere. We can't wait to have you back! Marla Queen,...

We loved this B&B. Every detail was well thought out from snacks to a powerful hair dryer. The mattress was dreamy! And we liked the antique decor. Outdoors there is a hammock and seating area. The garden is cute. Breakfast was good everyday with juice, tea and coffee, yogurt, granola, fruit and then a main dish like baked peach pancakes...
