Found on the sun-soaked shoreline of Corfu's southeast coast, MarBella is a world full of love and life. It gives families five-star quality and all they need to relax and have fun. And plenty of it. It's about togetherness. Eating, swimming, resting, playing, dreaming, and exploring as a family. Precious moments to remember forever. And seeing your loved ones shine and your bond with each other grow. Voted year after year in the Condé Nast Traveler Reader's Choice Awards as one of the top ten resorts in Greece, it's a world of many dimensions and delights. The lushly landscaped gardens offer vast views over the emerald Ionian Sea. Rooms and suites are spacious, stylish and discreetly detailed. The aqua park is endless fun. Menus are brimming with fresh flavours from Greece, the Mediterranean, and beyond. The wine cellar is a joyous discovery of its own. And cocktails are mixed to order. And because pretty much everything is included, you can completely relax into it. Another ice cream? Why not? Feeling peckish by the pool? Grab your snack of choice. Sundowners before dinner? Perfection.

Hotel's Favourite
We have just visited this hotel during the peak august period and had a great experience. Firstly I wanted to mention Jim at the main pool bar and Lara (lead entertainment) who were the real stars but all the staff are generally a credit to the hotel. Aqua park The aqua park is a great addition and this is clearly the reason this hotel will is now appeal to a lot more families. The only shame is they have not made a bridge from the hotel to the level as it means the only real access is via the reception and out via the area parking area and up a steep slope. To ride the big slides at the top level you are meant to be 1.20m but if you are close to this range the life’s guards would let kids on. Overall the lifeguard presence is good. The water in the aqua park is the coldest especially first thing but it’s absolutely fine when the sun is shining or once the morning has passed if your kids are a little sensitive to the cold like mine. Pools There is small pool by the aqua park which is gently slopped from about 0.8 to 1.4m. This is fresh water. The main pool is larger and is a consistent 1.4m in depth and is also fresh water. Next to this there is a salt water pool. All pools are to a good temperature. Pool food As noted by others this has been enhanced is very quick and there is a good selection all the pools and beach. Pool drinks Service is prompt and drinks and range are good. You don’t really have at bed service like the best 5 stars but the staff do a great job and I never really waited for drinks to arrive. Beach So this is split into two parts which is a kind of man made level and then a separate more traditional beach area near the watersports - note this is quite way from the bar so getting drinks is restricted in that you will have a good 5 minute walk there and back. The man made bit is stepped at small levels with a good amount of beds with a deck with 3 sets of stairs into the sea. The sea was lovely and clear with a good amount of small fish life around the rocks by the terrace. The grill restaurant, bar are all here and easily accessed. Watersports There are some pedalos, canons and paddle boards. Restaurants The restaurant offering was all round good, the menus were perhaps a little bit short compared to the best 5 stars but they gave a nice mix of settings and diversity so as not to get bored. Breakfast mains restaurant was good with a good range of options. Kum - buffet offering that was a little limited - it would be great if they did say the egg options by order to make this a bit different and to improve the overall offering. Italian - you need to book this! Food is really good and mixes buffet with a menu offering. Our favourite restaurant overall. Lunch Italian - menu option with a good selection. Grill - this had a nice menu option and a lovely outlook. This is all outside so most impacted by the odd wasp. Main buffet - good selection but was limited on the live stations and the live stations also did not have the highlight food of the best 5 stars ie a number of joints and a good mix of fish as well. Dinner (get in contact with the hotel to provisionally book) As noted above a good selection of restaurants at the hotel. We booked in advanced but we changed three booking during the week and had no issue. I don’t know if quietly they accommodate signature life guests on this point. Obviously If you want the busiest times 8-9 then they can’t accommodate everything. Rooms So the hotel comprises the old element and the new buildings. The new buildings have been well done and some rooms have private pools which are of a good size. We stayed in a grand terrace suite with hot tub in the old building. The room presented really well but the terrace and hot tub were a little tired but still absolutely fine and the view was spectacular. Any sea facing will have good views due to the hotel being set on a hill. Signature life Our room was this level and included a few extra perks this was a nice little addition if a bit basic in offering. Kids club This is run by worldwide kids and you need to book well in advance if you want to use. Staff and activities are good. The only shame is they don’t offer an events program for others to join in which a lot of other hotels have started doing - ie football or art etc. as a result if you are not booked there are very limited activities for the kids. The exception being aqua gym which most kids got involved with and was a big hit around the main pool. Evening entertainment This is generally quite basic and with generally just some form of music. There are two offerings though with the bar at the beach offering a younger vibe. Wasps So it’s well known there is a bit of an issue. I would say this is minor though and staff and on it as much as possible. It certainly did not impact our time eating in a material way. Hill So the resort is set on a cliff and there are lots of steps and steep slopes so if mobility is an issue just be aware. The hotel will help as they can with golf buggies but rightly these are only really for those in need. Overall This is a great entry level 5 star for Europe and I think great value for money.

A slice of pure heaven. My family have stayed at this hotel four times, and each time, gets better and better. The front office manager Anna Tzotzadini always goes out of her way to make sure we feel valued as return customers! From the minute you step foot into the Marbella complex, your worries melt away. The staff cannot do enough for you. The food is exceptional. Not the ‘same old buffet’ every day- a variety of delicious home cooked produce with ‘stations’ and chefs serving fresh scrummy food. The rooms are divine. Go for one with a sea view. And drinks on the terrace, at sunset… a dream come true. With my hand on heart I can say that this hotel is the best I have ever visited. So much so that I have persuaded even more of my family to come with me this coming May 😅 I will leave a further review after our group trip in May. Don’t hesitate. Just book. Thank you team Marbella! Amelia

We got a bargain at this hotel in the BA sale after switching from a hotel not too far away. We usually stay at Ikos resorts so we were looking forward to trying a similar hotel style to see if it was as good. We had a private pool suite which we upgraded to last minute - the room was stunning (just renovated) - lots of space and the kids loved the lights around the TV. The bed was very comfortable. However there were a few issues that had the management spend 1 night in the room with their own family they would notice 1) The bathroom (huge bedroom size) has no door so every smell is shared with your entire group. 2) There was no where to hand towels in the bathroom 3) There was nowhere outside or inside to hang wet swimming items to dry - so you had to use the furniture. 4) there is 1 sofa in the lounge for a room of 4 people so if you all need to sit down whilst its raining or an evening you cant - I had to sit in the bedroom on the bed, the hotel wont offer any more chairs and blamed the tour operators (rubbish). 5) the Pool was absolutely freezing - barely useable in the week we were there and some heating would be simple given the cost of these pools. 6) the room we had had access from the pathway and all day long you had people staring at you and into your room. 7) If you get there and there is a door for cleaners or pool boys outside then move - they don't care about waking you up at all hours 6am-7am-8am. 8) the turn down service was very hit and miss and often it was just towels passed in the door - no real luxury here. 9) The bin for the room was a bathroom bin and useless. 10) bath towels were tiny - not sure why they cant have proper adult sized towels. We looked at a superior standard family room as well - it stunk of damp but are being upgraded apparently - I would walk out if allocated this room to start with as the smell of damp was unareable. The food was nice enough, we were lucky enough to eat ala carte every night and whilst its missing that wow factor it was very good. Not Ikos standard by any stretch. The only issue we had was in the French which was not to our taste (not a veal fan). The pool side service to sunbeds was very frustrating, If Jim was there it was better but on his day off it was non existent as staff just stood by the bar - and when you went up to order you got pointed to them to order and tell them where you were sitting. When Jim was around it was much better but he was the only one making any real effort to take guests orders. Lunch from the van is a good idea but not great. The wasps are a nightmare... The evening entertainment was inside and because it was near half term the corridors were full with kids running around - they were walking around the fountain outside and a few nearly slipped and broke their bones whilst running around it - we have children and had them with us and there no way would let mine in a dirty fountain and who knows where the parents were. Its such a shame as if they got hurt im sure they would of complained. The entertainment was quite poor and a few of the singers were terrible - perhaps if it were outside it would of been better as the indoors was either too loud or you had 2 sets of entertainment from 2 bars coming at you from 2 different locations. We would return to this hotel if it were over £1000 cheaper than its ikos rivals, but its worth the extra to go there frankly as they go the extra mile the Marbella wouldn't go.

Second time visiting this wonderful hotel. October half term again due to my place of employment, school holidays are the only time we can take holidays. This hotel is ideal for that winter sun and time to relax and unwind. The new bungalows are superb and although out bungalow was very close to the main pool, once the door closed to your bungalow, you couldn’t hear any noise inside or sat on the balcony. Being close to the pool bar was great as we met Jim, one of the wonderful staff here and he was a superstar, he could not do enough for you, what a brilliant guy he is. The hotel is clean, smart, the choice of food is amazing but it’s the staff who make this hotel, every single member of staff was helpful, pleasant and friendly, too many to individually name. Second time snorkelling to see the local octopus, incredible creature. Look forward to our third visit, October 2024.

We had an incredible 9 days at the Marbella Hotel in Corfu in September and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a family and especially small children. Everyone is SO nice and friendly, all fluent in English too which selfishly helps if you are English speaking. I’ve never been anywhere where everyone - guests and staff alike, are so tolerant and sweet with small children. There were a lot of families here and lots of children so if you are not looking for that vibe, this won’t be for you. It was perfect for us and we felt so welcomed. Special shout outs to the bar staff who were always so incredible and showed my daughter Layla so much love and attention! The ladies whose names I remember were: Eleni, Faidra, Margarita and Despina - thank you so so much for showering Layla with love! The kids club in the evenings was also amazing! We were extremely lucky to have been able to upgrade to a room with a private pool. If you are able to, I highly recommend it. We had one of the garden pool rooms, which was actually reasonably priced compared to other hotels. It did back onto the motorway but you quickly stop feeling bothered by that. There are more expensive newer pools face a much quieter place. With a 16 month old that needs a 2 hour nap daily and won’t sleep in her pushchair, upgrading to a pool room was the best decision we made! On one of the first nights, a stuffed animal dolphin wearing a hotel Marbella top was left for our daughter in her cot - such a sweet and thoughtful thing to so. Upon leaving we were also gifted the cutest little tin of olive oil. A la carte restaurants were great, they were all very different and made for a welcomed change from the buffet. The buffet itself was fine - there was a good range of options. Negatives With the pushchair, we had to get 2 lifts to get to our room from the main part of the hotel. It wasn’t a major issue to me but some people might find it annoying. There was just one thing I didn’t like at all about the room and that was the bathroom. It felt outdated and the bath area was quite mouldy. This really let the room down but a couple who come here every year said the hotel is planning to renovate the older rooms in the coming years so hopefully this is the case! The bathroom door itself was loud and creaky which woke our baby up whenever we opened it. Other than these few things, there were no other negatives for us. Bring mosquito spray!

We had a wonderful time at Marbella and I really hope I can come back someday; hopefully not in the too-distant future! The team made us feel so welcome and like we were at home, they were all super friendly and helpful. The facilities were outstanding and we loved the waterpark area and the infinity pool next to it, a fantastic addition for families. My daughter loved the kids' disco, face painting and playhouse at the beach, great offerings that seem to be a hit with the kids. Our room was spacious and the bed so comfy, with a great balcony. The food was amazing and there was no risk of us going hungry! Thank you so much and see you soon!

We had a great holiday at the Marbella hotel in mid october. We had a sea view junior suite with a terrace and jacuzzi bath and it was really lovely, lots of room for the three of us, especially with our toddler who recently learned to walk and likes to explore! Having a big outdoor bath every evening watching the sun go down was really memorable. We found the hotel probably a bit too large and higgledy piggeldy with a pram and we ended up using the main entrance and road up and down the hill to get everywhere which I suppose helped offset the all inclusive calories! But as a result there is a good selection of restaurants. The quality of the food varies but all in all it’s as good as any other all inclusive we’ve visited and the service was always good, they were especially great with our little girl. Our favourites were the French and the Greek. The beach area is also really nice and we had some lovely long lunches at the Deck Restaurant. We also made the most of the crèche facility to get a bit of time to ourselves and although we were a bit nervous about leaving our little one with strangers the ladies there were great and she loved it. Overall a great hotel if you’re looking for a resort based holiday.
