At the end of January my company took over the hotel for an exclusive event lasting almost a full week with guests coming in for day visits and overnights. Despite the best efforts of the British weather to throw a dampener on the event it was the efforts of all the Danesfield staff that made the launch event both memorable...

This hotel was exceptional - the staff were so helpful and friendly and the hotel and spa were beautiful. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who loves to stay in a hotel with history without the 'tiredness' that can often be the case.

The Spa at the Danesfield is very good, with a 25 Metre Pool, jacuzzi and all that you would expect. The Gym is very good also, with most machines and weight training kit. The staff are mos friendly and do what they can to help

Just a quick, sponsored overnight for a corporate event but a very nice hotel with lovely big rooms with adjustable radiator heat, opening windows and proper Freeview digital telly. Bathroom a bit shabby, needing a lick of paint, but all the plumbing worked though the heated towel rail needed bleeding to coax out a bit more heat. Conference centre food...

Having returned after a decade since our first visit, the hotel and its surroundings were as spectacular as I'd remembered it.The outside was now painted white ( rather than the original stone facade), but the interior had remained the same, which for a 4 star hotel, could have been maintained better. Our room - for example - overlooking the beautifully...

Wonderful relaxing spa with Mum. Only a brief visit this time - looking forward to a longer visit soon. Great full body massage for me and a facial for mum. Didn't dine this time, yet previously have and was good for formal or casual dining. Spotless. Friendly. Great location. Definitely a winner for all.

An excellent place to re-charge one's 'batteries'. All members of staff were extremely polite and helpful and a credit to the service profession. Coincidentally, we were given the same room as the one we had 2 years ago. The view was lovely but unfortunately the weather was not good enough for us to take advantage of the outside seating area....
