The owner Johnny just came walking into my room lol. Make sure your doors are always locked I guess haha! The staff are nice and the rooms are neat and clean! Beds are kinda uncomfy and overall the rooms are a little old. You get what you pay for.

Unhappy they said they had a weekky room when i called we got there they did not and charged for a nightly room. Then said we took one of there thin white bath towels which are maybe worth a dollar . And to top it off i even helpd the owner load a fire place on to a truck and this is how they treat there guest

I called Johnny's to book reservations for other family members coming in out of town. I verified twice the room size and ammonites. Out of kindness I was trying to pay for my family's room only to find out that they didn't accept credit cards. I called my family quoting them the price. When we met the next morning it was discussed that they were charged with the next expensive room. I am not sure if this is just how they deal business or if Johnny's just taking advantage of an elderly couple?! When I called and kindly explained my frustrations I was told that not only was I not able to get them a refund, but was informed that my family would need to be charged for blood spots on linens. Really??!!

Sorry for a very late response to your complain. I wasn't the one who helped your family when they check- in here but I understand that when they came here they wanted a room with two (2) beds. Our rooms with 2 beds and rooms with 1 bed are with different prices. I think you checked for a room with 1 bed which is lesser than the room with 2 beds that's why they were charged for room with 2 beds. You probably know about smart phones that is what we are using for our credit card it's called square that uses a smart phone. We are not scammers, we are just trying to earn a living as honestly as we could in God's guidance. Thank you for your review. I hope it will help you and will help us improve our service too. Got stuck in weather and could not depart the airport. Called Johnny's Motel from the airport and they came and picked us up with in 5 minutes.
Took us in and treated us like family. Since we had no car they took us to a very nice restaurant for both the dinner and breakfast during our stay.
This is hunters paradise and they made room for us just two days before the opening of gun season in Michigan. Lots of hunters.

My Husband had stayed there for 1 week because of his job and one day that week he was getting back from his job and driving slow into the parking lot and Johnny approched him and said there were kids around and to drive very slow my husband told him he was... but also told him he would drive even slower.... And then he approched him agian and said he had to check the room and walked in while he was in the truck My husband was very confused and asked why he needed to check the room and he did not answer In my opinion thats invading your privacy when you cant answer why your going into a room Im his wife and I was just helping him out to find a good location close to his job, but I would never recommend this place to anyone Im afraid if I was at this hotel and I would have to go out for dinner he would invade my praivacy by coming in while I was gone Since then he has never stayed there again RMP

Sorry for a delayed reply we are not aware of reviews before until somebody told us about a bad review here. As I recall he was driving fast for our driveway that's why I stopped him to make sure kids around are safe and I always tell customers to slow down when in the driveway to make sure nobody gets hurt. We have people that stay here with us on weekly basis because we have kitchenettes and same thing I always warn them to slow down when I catches them driving fast and I also check rooms once in a while to make sure no drug thing is going on here in the motel. I may or may not have asked him that I'm going to check his room but I always asked customers or knocked on their door if I'm going to check their rooms. Sorry to disappoint you but we are only trying to offer clean rooms and good service for a reasonable price of our rooms to our customers. Thank you for your business.

my family of 4 and our 2 dogs stayed last night...was very clean and they let us put our dogs out back in a fenced in yard...nice that they got to burn off some of there energy after being in a car for so long....would definetly stay again!!

I stayed here for one night. My room was perfect for a party of one, was very clean and noise was not an issue. I would stay here again. The sheets smelled great! Couldn't beat the price either! Thank you!
