My husband and I just returned from One night at the Inn. It was a last Minute getaway and we called while eating lunch in New Buffalo. Bill answered and they had a couple of rooms open. He let me tour and pick which one I liked best. All of the rooms were beautiful but I loved The Madeline because...

Hi Mama of 3 monkeys, I'm so glad we had a few rooms for you to choose from. These past two weeks every night has been full and I've had to say Sorry, "no room at the Inn." Madeleine has become a favorite for many of our guests because of the private balcony and privacy away from any other rooms....

Anyone needing a wonderful place to stay while visiting Harbor Country Michigan area should stay at the Inn at Union Pier. The place is quaint and peaceful allowing you to relax and unwind. MaryAnn was so helpful and helped me find plenty of local attractions. They have wine & popcorn at 5pm so you can enjoy before heading out to...

Hi Lynne B, Thanks for spreading the word about the Inn at Union Pier. Everyone that reads the reviews wants to come to the Inn all at the same time. LOL. You can see the how relaxed people feel as soon as they walk through the office doors and sit in the Great Room. Every once in a while they...

I keep going back in any season. Its like going back to a cherished home. The rooms beautifully done & kept. Love the Swedish tile fireplaces, love being across the dirt road from the beach. Private. Great in-house breakfasts. Close to fun restaurants and shopping, if you choose to get out of bed! But better than all that, have been...

Hi ZB66, Congratulations on making it 28 years. Sounds like you need to come back in the fall. The fireplaces will be open in October and the beautiful sunsets are waiting for you to watch. Anyone who misses breakfast around here is crazy because we have the best cooks ever. They each have their specialties like Eggs Benedict and Stuffed...

Maybe because it is run by a wonderful team of interested and interesting staff (great to meet you Bill and Mary Ann) it attracts guests who are also happy to talk but never intrude. We had a great time; met lovely people, ate delicious breakfasts, cookies and iced tea readily available later in the day and good local wine in...

Hi Winnie, I wish the UK was closer so you could visit more often. It was such a pleasure getting to talk to you and your family. We have had a very busy and warm summer and only have about 4 more weeks until Labor Day when it quiets down again during the week day. Most weekends stay busy until...

I grew up in Chicago and have been staying here off and on since 1992. With several room options it's sure to have something for everyone. From the smaller 4 season building near the back of the property to the larger rooms off the courtyard. The breakfasts have always been fantastic and it has a real summer beach house feel...

Hi David, I bet you have seen this area change since you started coming in 1992. Just in the 11 years I have worked here at the Inn several homes have been bought and sold and then remodeled or torn down. I hope you got to see the new remodeled Cottage of the Four Seasons. Sounds like you have stayed...

Hi Kabad, Thank you for the wonderful review and sounds like you enjoyed your stay at the Inn and the Red Arrow Road House. I've never had a bad meal there and it is only a five minute walk from the Inn. Most people when they come here park their car and never drive it the whole time they are...

Your process of decompression starts as you park your car under the shade of giant trees and continues as you enter the property and meet the staff. I can't say enough about the carefree atmosphere of the Inn, it envelops you quietly and securely and won't let you stray...let the world wait. Breakfasts are extraordinary affairs with specials offered daily...
