Spent one night here when passing through the area on our way home from a few days in the U.P. Friendly staff, very clean room, and a delicious breakfast. We appreciated having a fridge in the room. The Douwe Egberts coffee was a pleasant surprise!

Older hotel but recently updated/remodeled. Beautiful view and area of the beach. Quiet area. Very friendly people and clean place to stay. Very enjoyable. Lots of places to eat and fun things to do near walking distance.

This was our first trip to Traverse City and I was surprised at the high price for what you get. Maybe this is in-line with other hotels in the area. The nice part about this place was the view of Lake Michigan and the private beach area. Great if you plan to spend time there and take advantage of that.... More

Please ignore any reviews from years ago. The Beach Haus is peaceful, comfortable and very clean. No pool, no spa but that's fine by me. What you get are beautiful views of the east bay, clean, comfortable rooms with whatever you need a phone call away. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The complimentary continental breakfast is more than enough... More

This was a great little hotel. I loved the open area leading out to the beach (where they also served complementary breakfast and fresh cookies during the day). Our rooms had cute little balconies facing the water. The rooms are definitely a little dated but overall, in very good condition. Their parking lot isn't very big so if you had... More

When we arrived we checked in only to find out we did not get what we booked through booking.com. We were given a second floor room when we had booked a first floor room. Because it was done through booking.com they were not able to change it. I think from now on we will not use a booking service. The... More

Just recently spent 4 days at the Beach Haus Resort and had a great time. The resort has balconies with a wonderful view of the lake and the wonderful sunsets. It's also convenient to downtown Traverse City and many wineries. Great chocolate chip cookies in the evening and an okay breakfast in the mornings. The only negative thing would be... More

Such a lovely hotel experience! While the hotel is older, these folks know how to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable! The hotel and grounds were so very well kept, the room was so clean and so well maintained. It was their attention to detail that was impressive. From the fluffy white towels to the warm cookies every evening,... More

Refreshing, laid back feel to the Beach Haus will definitely have me booking again when headed to Northern Michigan. The staff was very friendly and allowed my girlfriend and I to get away for a night. Will definitely be staying a few nights next time to take advantage of all the benefits of this location. Great Job!
