There is parking. Drive up the small hill to the hotel. It is not too far away from Linz even, about 30 mins. A one night visit in not such good weather but a warm welcome from professional and courteous staff. Well appointed rooms with really wonderful views over the river Danube. There is even an open air swimming pool...

If you ever in the area make sure to plan a night at the Hotel Faustschlossl, The view of the Danube is fantastic. The rooms are outstanding. The owner made sure all details were taken care of. Breakfast was great and the made to order eggs made for a great start to the day. It was interesting to hear the...

Could hear the birds singing in the morning with no road noise. Family run with a great dinning room. Spent the second night of a two week bike ride down the Danube. Highly recommended. We sat on the veranda for dinner overlooking the Danube. The rooms were tidy and clean with modern bathrooms.

We stayed here on the second night of our Danube bike tour and, other than the very steep driveway up to the hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here. The location alone is quite lovely with views over the Danube. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. Just be careful of mosquitos in the room. We had...

I did the Danube bike trail with a friend and out of our 8 overnights, this hotel was one of our favorites. I was hesitant after reading the reviews mentioning the steep uphill climb. While it is definitely steep, it is not long; more like a fairly long driveway. Anyone fit enough to do the bike trail can make it...

We spent our first night here after a 75 k bike from Passau. It is the perfect place to relax. They have a nice terrace overlooking the Danube where we enjoyed a bottle of Gruener Weltliner as we watched the sun set over the river. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet and also had a nice view. We ate...

We stopped at the hotel for a night on a Danube bike tour. After having climbed the hill to the hotel (really the only downside of this place), we were welcomed by the very competent and kind staff. Our room (on the front of the hotel with a small balcony overlooking the river- -gorgeous) was very clean, modern, and spacious...

Unassuming I'd call it. It is easy to miss as it sits a short distance upon the hill. It's only when you get inside that you realize what a place it truly is. Our room had a great view of the river. However, it was in the middle of torrential rain storm with low hanging fog when we arrived on...

We stayed here a Danube bicycle tour and it was a perfect place (apart from the short steep uphill climb!) to end a long day in the saddle. Great views of Aschbach across the Danube, a most attractive terrace for drinks and a really good restaurant for dinner with a most solicitous host. The rooms were simple but spacious and...

Can there be a nicer place to dine on a warm summer’s evening than the terrace at this hotel? Situated above the Danube, the terrace faces the setting sun and provides diners with a view of the sunset and the town across the river. And an excellent dinner and fabulous bottle of wine made for the perfect evening. Rooms are...
