Rooms are fine, everything here is old, but clean. Location is great. What we couldn't understand was why there were three boats allowed to tie up next to the chain ferry and blast their music this last weekend. It was extra loud, overpowering the festivities in the adjacent park. The people on the boat were too old to be acting...

Hello. My name is Ryan Brown, and I am the General Manager of the Ship-N-Shore Hotel. I apologize that you did not enjoy your experience while staying with us during this past Venetian Festival. This is an extremely popular festival (Saugatuck's most popular), and we do tend to host a large number of boats during this weekend as we are...

This location is wonderful, right on the waterside where you can watch the boats glide by. The grounds are very well kept with beautiful garden and benches to sit and relax. The rooms have been wonderfully updated--they still have the quaint older charm but are nicely updated for today's needs. The complimentary breakfast (cinnamon rolls) were delicious! The heated pool...

This is my second time at this place and I just love it. All kinds of cool large boats tied up on the hotel pier.Always end up talking to the people in the boats. Great location to walk to town or just set on the deck and watch the boats go by. Next door to the chain ferry and just...

Location is fantastic! This is the ONLY hotel located on the Kalamazoo River in Saugatuck and it is right in the downtown shopping/eating area. The hotel is impeccably maintained - the grounds, the rooms, the lobby, the pool. Rooms are very comfy and clean - and the price is great! We loved our room on the garden side of the...

Ship 'n Shore is an older, 2 story motel on the Kalamazoo River. We have stayed here before and knew what it was like and were happy to return. The rooms are clean and small, with painted cement walls and a small bathroom. We were on the first floor, so I felt as though the world was walking by our...

This is the perfect place to stay if you enjoy the water. You can sit in the beautiful gardens or on your private balcony and watch boats of all kinds travel up and down the Kalamazoo River. We've been coming here for years and are always warmly greeted. We'll be celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary in Saugatuck this year and...

Went back to Saugatuck for the Taste of Fashion, and (of course) we stayed at Ship'n Shore. Not only was it the best location in town, but they have recently renovated their rooms! They look great, and we loved staying here! No other place to stay when visiting this charming town! We look forward to going back soon! Thanks to...

I visited the Ship'N'Shore with my fiance recently, and I have to say we were greatly surprised. The customer service is 10 stars! Everything we needed, they were helpful and incredibly friendly. Visiting from Florida, it was so nice to be in a place that valued their customers. The rooms are adorable, and overlooking a gorgeous view of the river....

I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO SHIP-N-SHORE. I stayed there with friends August 5, 6, 7. Upon arrival I was told I had a reservation for only two nights but that a room actually was available for the third night but I would have to move to the new room after the second night and it would cost extra. I...
