The old saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me comes to mind. I posted on this hotel sometime back and have stayed here 3-4 times since. This is the last time I will stay at this hotel. For starters, it was labor day weekend and as always they jacked the prices up, but that...

I had my wedding block at this hotel in June of 2016 and I was not the only bride who had family and friends using this hotel as it is a popular wedding location. I only had 11 rooms booked and the gift bags were not distributed correctly leaving some of my guests without them. When I called to inquire...

This is a privately owned, independent hotel, not affiliated with any chain. My wife and I paid a little over $200 per night for a Friday/Saturday in August 2016 while attending a wedding in the area. (The wedding party and most out-of-town guests stayed here.) We experienced two separate rooms - 516 and 615 - because of issues in the...

The room was stale and damp. Smelled mildewy but we just slept there. They have balconies but no chairs so it's pretty much useless! The bar downstairs really gets going on Saturday night. I went down to check out the free breakfast. It wasnt anything to write home about so I decided to skip. They just had scrambled eggs and...

This is an older hotel, but it is not in as bad a shape as some people lead you to believe and they are in the process of updating. Check in was nice and friendly. They put us in a room that was on the lake side of the hotel, but you couldn't see much of it. Here were the...

We got married in St. Joseph's last year. I'm glad we didn't listen to any of the negative reviews of this hotel. Everything was great. I know some of our guests were a little worried but the staff was outstanding and very helpful. Loved the location. Was super happy that about 80 of us stayed the whole weekend and had...

The location is great - right downtown, lots of places to shop and eat within easy walking distance. The beach isn't too far away, maybe a 1/2 mile or so. Yes, the hotel shows some signs of being dated. Overall, I'd say the place is clean, and they do what they can to keep the place up. The exercise room...

The location is excellent and the price was decent so I decided to ignore the reviews and book here. My kids were horrified when ants started crawling across one of the beds. Thankfully they seemed to stay on just one side of the room but they did get into my luggage and were all over anything my son put on...

The manager is disrespectful. Our reservations were booked through hotels.com. We later called the hotel directly to confirm that we were to have the correct room allocation. On arriving the first question from the manager was: "would you prefer not to check in?" At the breakfast the apple juice was so watered down it tasted more like water than juice....

Don't even bother. This hotel was decorated in Early Tacky. The bathroom faucet was dripping aroung the base. The tub was clogged and drained slowly. The room had not been upgraded in years. No bags for dirty laundry. No luggage rack. No room service. The ATM machine didn't work. Yes, it's close to the beach, but pay more and stay...
