You know that saying....."Come as guests, leave as family"? Well it certainly applies here. From the moment we checked in, the owners Kathy & Tim could not have been nicer. They were very helpful with touristy ideas and tips for the area. The bonfire each...More
The owners seem to be nice people, but that is not enough to bring me back to this hotel. Sadly, the reviews on TripAdvisor for this motel are so glowing that I thought it would be a simple, but nice place to stay on a...More
Stayed here on our way to Copper Harbor. If you are riding motorcycles this is the place to stay! They had a place to wash your bike! How cool! Walking distance to good restaurants. Will stay here again.

I wish I had considered that the rooms apparently have big differences between them. Our room was tiny and very uncomfortable, but I saw another review that mentioned their room had a fireplace. Maybe some of the rooms are nicer than others. I had Room 7 and I would never want to stay in it again. The only lock on the door was on the doorknob--no deadbolt or chain. The bathroom was too small to even comfortably get dressed. The beds were rock hard.I was beyond miserable here.
