Stayed 3 nights at the Rivermouth campgrounds and had a great time even though it rained one day. This is an easy campground in which to maneuver a motorhome. Some site are asphalt and some are gravel. Our site was gravel and level. Neat campfire rings. Walk the paths along the river as well as the campgrounds roads. Only electric...

Reservations made online. Stayed one night at the lower falls and the second night at Rivermouth camp grounds. Nice facilities at both locations. Restrooms well maintained - nice view at Rivermouth. Not a lot of store access in the area so bring what you need.

We were able to rent the one cabin at this campground. The regular sites are nice, they are not on top of each other and some are along the river. This is rustic and so there are outhouses and not flush toilets. There is a modern part where you can go to take a shower. Met some really nice people...

The falls are beautiful, especially the hike between the upper and lower falls (bring snacks, water, and good shoes!) It's pretty "touristy", not what we're used to for camping. We stayed at the modern campground and should have chosen the rustic one. Lots of people, RVs, lights, kids and dogs everywhere!

We made our reservations online through the DNR website, where you can choose your own site -- click on a site number and then you can click on photos of that site! We were right on the river - pitched our tent on a bed of pine needles - huge pines surrounding us, huge site, gorgeous views. The bathrooms are...

Roomy sites, some overlook a creek. Clean bath and shower building too. All within a short distance to any of the most popular attractions. We stayed at the lower falls campsite and did the 4 mile trail to the upper falls. The upper area has a great restaurant, snack bar, and gift shop.

The falls were a lot bigger than we expected! The water was really rushing the day we were there. Loved the sites and sounds and beautiful walk up both sides. Have been to many falls but this is one of our favorites.

Loved the bath and shower building, cleaned daily and plenty of hot water. The fire pits are fancy: raised metal circles inlaid with concrete, great for roasting without getting a backache and much safer to let kids play nearby. No water hookups or spigots at each site, you have to walk to various water areas, not very convenient for dishwashing....

I was really nervous about this trip! So I agreed to stay for two nights only. The view on the way was absolutely amazing, marvelous and beautiful! As we pull in towards our campsite we were right by the river it was nice I can do this! Lol. This place was inexpensive, building a fire is fun, and spending countless...
