This remarkable building with extensive grounds has been lovingly cared for by the present owners. Rooms are thoroughly updated and very comfortable and quiet. The remove country location provides serenity, while offering reasonable driving distances to St. Malo or Mont Saint Michel. There are no restaurants nearby, however.

Beautiful grounds an a lovely historic building made for a peaceful stay. The owners made me feel welcome from the first moment on, and Mme Christine is a source of historic knowledge. I stayed in the top-level room on the right hand side, a spacious room tastefully decorated. The bathroom (toilet is separate) has a Jacuzzi tub and lovely tiles....

We stayed for one night with friends of ours. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were so warm and hospitable. They made us a delicious dinner and super breakfast. They were also extremely helpful with helping us plan our next day's bicycling route. I would highly recommend staying in this charming old manoir that has been beautifully renovated...

Mu husband and I stayed here for a weekend; we were very pleasantly suprised by the place, a large imposing manoir, with big rooms and big fireplaces ( which are working!) Having a glass of wine by the fire in a candlelit romantic sitting area was a wonderful moment to treasure. Mme Marivin is, next to a very attentive host,...

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and stayed 4 nights here. This is a house full of character and historical artefacts and definitely not a boring chain hotel. The owners have taken great pride in their home. Christine's gourmet dinner was excellent and breakfasts were most enjoyable. Cannot agree with previous reviewer that house was damp or owners were rude. Christine...

Charming, very spacious rooms in a manor from the XVI century where every single object is telling stories from the past. The house is one of those places that leave a profound impression in all your senses (loved the essence of roses after the room was cleaned up every morning!); lovely garden and great outdoor swimmingpool. Congratulations and many thanks...

Do not stay here unless you wish to stay in a room that smells of damp, pay totally over the top prices for very little and be subjected to a pompous dragon of a 'Madame' of the house. The husband was very charming and helpful. The woman was simply awful - rude is too genteel of a description for her....

with relative interest I did read your injurious, defamatory, slanderous , and libelous. comments; in my view charracteristic of a person of great malice, intent to bring damage. Obviously it had displeased you that in answer to your question whether your husband could go to dinner in shorts to the culinary restaurant where, on your demand, I had made a...

Manoir de la Hazaie is almost, no, is like staying in a museum! What riches surround Christine and Jean-Yves. This venue is 'the real deal'. The surrounding gardens are lush and inviting. The modern clean and heated outdoor pool is a bonus you don't often find in manor houses. Christine is a consummate chef full of enthusiasm for her cuisine,...

We have just returned from a wonderful evening spent at this charming manor. Hosts, Christine and Jean-Yves made us very welcome and justifiably very proud of their wonderful home with such beautiful periodic furniture subtly mixed with modern amenities. There are no dinning facilities on Sunday evenings but it was no trouble for Christine to book us a table at...

If you are looking for somewhere different and luxurious this is a must. The owners Christine and Jean Yves treat you as their house guests and are extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities are great. The food? Well you get what you given there is no choice but what you get is outstanding quality by any standards. A great base...
