This is our third time to visit Le Chevrefeuille, and we enjoy it more each time. It is situated in a beautiful area, and the peace and quiet is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and fresh, with everything you need, and this year we were in the "petite maison "which was perfectly self contained. Sara provides a wonderful...

We spent a week at Le Chevrefeuille in July and were extremely pleased with our choice. The hotel is beautiful with lovely grounds in a picture book setting. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with a classic french touch. The breakfast is plentiful and varied with enough choice to satisfy all but the fussiest eater. We only had dinner on...

We found Le Chevrefeuille through Trip Advisor. It is off the beaten path, but that's what makes it so special. I don't think the pictures were able to show how lovely the inn actually is, so we were even more impressed once we arrived. (The beds were really comfortable as well.) We were traveling with our two young children (11...

Le Chevrefeuille is an unique place - the best location in the heart of the Dordogne, the beautiful surroundings, the lovely property and the comfortable accommodations; and, of course, the wonderful accueil provided by owners Sara and Ian. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We were at Le Chevrefeuille one week for a course, that was necessary for the work we do, and one week I stayed with my wife for a holiday we hardly ever will forget. The accomodation was fine, the hospitality generous and we will never forget the exciting moments watching matches of the soccer worldchampignonship with Sara en Ian, as...

My wife and I stayed in a tower room at the end of June/early July. As others have commented they really do go the extra mile in every possible way to make sure their guests have a good time. Ian is a fine chef and his evening meals are a strong recommendation. The breakfasts were outstanding too. It was lovely...

Our family, which includes 3 teenagers, had the glorious vacation I dreamed of, only better! If you have ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a beautiful farmhouse in a charming village, eat fresh, yummy, cheerfully offered and beautifully presented breakfast, drive short distances to forts and castles, visit nearby market days in other charming villages, climb...

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at Chevrefeuille in the "Bread room", but wished we could have stayed longer. The house, grounds and surrounding area are all beautiful. We were met with a wine and a beer when we arrived after a long drive which was very welcome. Our room was lovely, with a little terrace of it's...

My husband and I spent a week at Le Chevrefeuille during May. We stayed in La Petite Maison and it was everything and more than we hoped for. We stayed at Le Chevrefeuille for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and very cozy. Sara, our hostess, was always available to help us and provided great suggestions for excursions. This location is an excellent base for exploring the many sights and enjoying the activities of the Dordogne region. Every morning, we had...
