We attended Ian and Sara's one day cooking course in Sept 2016. We didn't know what it was going to be like but we were eager to try a course in the Dordogne because of its famous cuisine. We were not only not disappointed we were thrilled by the course. We stared with shopping in the local market where Ian... More

We returned to Le Chevrefeuille for a week in September 2016. This time we were travelling with my brother & sister in law (so, 4 adults in total). We stayed in Passiflore Cottage and also rented out the bread room next door. As with every time we visit Le Chevrefeuille, our stay was fantastic! My brother & sister in law... More

This place has created a rod for its own back, given the almost universally gushing reviews on this site. So we arrived for a four-night stay with some pretty high expectations. I have to say we weren't disappointed. We had a very nice stay. Le Chevrefeuille is an attractive collection of buildings and gardens which have been adapted to the... More

We have visited Le Chevrefeuille a number of times over the years, and this trip was the same as all the others, excellent! Ian and Sara are wonderful hosts, and their children are a delight. The accommodation is of a very high standard, and the food, both the breakfasts and Ian's wonderful dinners, is delicious. We would highly recommend it... More

Quiet, relaxing, classic country B&B. Excellent hosts who gave us many suggestions for places to eat and sights to see. Perfect place for our exploration of the area. Lovely area to walk and explore the countryside from the B&B. Highly recommended!

This was so much fun and informative. Went to farmers market to choose ingredients for wonderful meal. Beautiful setting in the French countryside. Ian was a great instructor, and Sara a great hostess! Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves to cook.

I chose the stay at Chevrefeuille, because I wanted to take the cookery course they offer. The visit turned out to be wonderful in many ways. The location is in a very beautiful and picturesque region. Sara Fisk provides excellent suggestions on where to go and where to eat. Major sights like Font de Gaume are near-by. Chevrefeuille offers many... More

We had a fabulous stay here. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Our children didn't want to leave - they had such fun with the toys, animals and other children. It is a beautiful and relaxing setting. They have thought of everything a family with young children might need. We want to return and would strongly recommend... More

What a wonderful discovery, a beautiful property in a wonderful location with enthusiastic, helpful and friendly proprietors that are only too keen to ensure you have a great stay but respectful of your privacy. Ian and Sarah run this smart superior B & B in a French style, relaxed but efficient and are enthusiastic proprietors of everything that is good... More
