My wife and I needed a get away from real life. This place was great. Barb and Fred where a joy. Muskegon has lots to do and see. Go give it a try. We stayed in this area 3 times this year and had a great time each time. Submerine museum , Hume Hackley houses and beaches are just some.

I have been a travel agent for over 18 years, and have never been treated by management at any establishment or travel supplier the way we were treated here. They sat us down at breakfast, (we were creepily the ONLY guests in the whole place), and they proceeded to ask us a lot of personal questions. I thought it was... More

We really enjoyed our stay. We were made to feel so comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and filled us in on why a bed and breakfast is different from a run of the mill hotel. And they were right! Food was delicious and elegantly presented. We enjoyed meeting the other guests. We would definitely go back.

My wife and I are younger and not the typical B&B patrons. My first impression was a bit overwhelmed with all the Victorian decorating. I must say it grows on you and makes the house very cozy and enjoyable. We had a relaxing time here. The innkeepers are very friendly and knowledgeable people with good information about the area. We... More

This was mine and my husband's first time trying out a B&B (we are a younger married couple) and we absolutely fell in love with the place! Fred and Barb have put so much work into the home--it was like a dream! They had great hospitality and were very personal, and the rooms were gorgeous and unique! This B&B is... More

First of all, Fred & Barb are wonderful "host's" and make you feel right at home (A Home away from Home). In the top 3 of Our favorite B&B's for over 25yr's of travel. The Victorian decor was ourstanding, room after room, of history and beauty, and very well maintained. Our room (Queen Anne), had everything we wanted; large window... More

This was my first stay at a B&B and it was perfect!! The house is just beautiful, clean, and first class. The owners Barbara and Fred are so nice and personable. The breakfast was delicious. I loved hearing about the history of the home. I would love to visit again and definitely recommend this beautiful Victorian B&B.

Every room in this house is a treasure wtih a different personality and a different story to tell. Barb and Fred are the most graceous of hosts and their knowledge of the area and its history makes the experience even more memorable. The only downside might be the location of their home, which requires a mile's travel to reach the... More
