Stayed at Lazybones 1 night before going to Utila, the room was ok, it was clean and the bed comfortable. The shared bathrooms are kept very clean. I really like the common areas and the pool is such a nice addition in the heat of Leon. The location is great and its just 6 mins away from the main square... More

Ive recently bern there with a friend and im very happy with Lazybones. We took a double room with twin beds and shared bathroom. Its VERY clean and has a beautiful infrastructure, open spaces, plenty of chill area and a pool!! (Note...not many pools in Leon and terribly hot) Hint: dorms are packed and warm, for 2$more u get a... More

Nice room with a bed you don't wanna leave! Free coffe and pooltable. You can enjoy lazy time by the pool with a cold beer ( they just put it on your bill), and they even called a restaurant to get us a pizza delivered at the pool! Whats not to love?

I disagree with the review below which asdvises couples to stay clear. Of course it all depends on your perspective. My wife and I are more the backpacker type but prefer private rooms where available and economical. We were very happy with our private on the second floor (room7) for 3 nights not facing the pool but facing the courtyard... More

very nice hostel, with big clean dorms and a nice bathroom. They have allot of activities but we did not use them because quetzal trekkers is also in Leon. They have shuttles to el salvador/honduras/guatemala, if you're shuttle leaves at 2pm u still have to pay for a full night. No party or drinking in this hostel. U have to... More

I spent 4 nights there and it really felt like home. Had one of the upper "suites" without a bathroom, overlooking the pool. This hostel is not a "wild & crazy" environment where all people want to do is drink & party. It was populated by thoughtful, mature individuals who respected the rights and feelings of others. The staff was... More

I wouldn't normally be unfair enough to write a review of a place that I didn't end up staying in but if I save just one person the walk to this hostel from the bus station in the steaming heat then it will be worthwhile. I'm not a backpacker and if I was looking for somewhere to meet people and... More

One of my favourite hostels I've ever stayed in. Large spacious dorms with very comfy beds. Nice pool area and courtyard garden with hammocks. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Very clean. Plenty of bathrooms. Good value. The only downside for me is no kitchen and I found the street very noisy at night but my earplugs sorted that out.

I definitely recommend this place. I've been to Leon 3 times now and I keep going back to Lazybones. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, it's right in the center of town and the pool is definitely an added bonus. The hotel also organises great tours with a large portion of the benefits... More

The staff here are great and accommodating! We got in late and went to Quetzaltrekkers to sign up for both the overnight bike and volcano boarding but they didn't have it for the day we needed it so we fortunately ran into Lazy Bones hostel around the corner. The staff signed us up right away for a next day trip... More
