This is a wonderful place and if you are looking for a room in Khiva, I highly recommend Meros. The rooms are clean, they have spacious bathrooms and our room had a very big terrace. Their breakfasts are huge and yummy, you can find some sweets and some salty things, simply fantastic!! Jolladin, the owner, arranged for us a driver...

This was a decent guesthouse in a very good location. There are various sitting rooms indoors. Our actual room was clean and well cared for but a bit cramped. The bathroom was ok. The sizeable balcony looked out at the wall with rubbish/random items to the side (eg. It wasn't a place we wanted to spend much time). Breakfast was...

Meros B&B is a family-owned business, run by highly engaged and very helpful hosts. Excellent value for money, the location cannot be beaten by any competitor. Meros is located just a three minutes walk from the main attractions inside the old city walls, but still far enough away from the busy tourist crowds, located in a quiet side road. Very...

This is the family run guest-house where Chris Alexander, who wrote "Carpet ride to Khiva " stayed for some years. Try and read the book before you travel to Uzbekistan (and if you are a reader , the other must read is Peter Hopkirk's "The Great Game"). The rooms are comfy and upstairs there is a little sitting area with...

The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a smooth stay. The food was excellent, served on a traditional Central Asian table. The views from the roof are magnificent. Walking from the B&B around the ancient city was unforgettable.

Jaloladdin and his brother are both super friendly with a fantastic wealth of information. They have a set of very professional drivers, who will take you do the Khorezm forts, Nukus and Bukhara. Decent room, however, had issue with toilet as it wasn't flushing. Guys had to fix it couple of times before it was sorted but that's a minor...

We loved our stay in Meros and felt taken care of. Fantastic service. Plenty of free space (terrace, sitting and dining area with TV and an english news channel). The free flow of tea which is always accompanied with cakes and cookies was amazing ! The breakfast was one of the best we had in the country with some variety every...

Our daughter booked the four of us into Meros, saying it was the best place to stay in Khiva. We were very comfortable during our stay. The rooms were clean and nice. The bathroom was fine. The location was very good, easy to find. The breakfast was very good. I enjoyed talking to the owners and seeing their family and...

Meros Guest House is a wonderful, welcoming place to stay in beautiful Khiva. Situated within the mudbrick walls of the ancient fortress, this family run business successfully manages to be friendly, relaxed yet professional. The room was clean and comfortable with a private balcony overlooking the wall. The delicious breakfast was served in their impressive dining room. It was fabulous...

Great location near the center of Khiva. The staff was very friendly and invited us for a cup of tea even though we arrived at 5 in the morning (which we kindly declined because we wanted to sleep). Breakfast was also very good. Room was spacious with a balcony and a proper bathroom. But the bed was awful. Very hard...
