We really enjoyed our stay at the Peacock. The owners and staff were always eager to help and great conversations are always happening in the bakery area. The room was really nice with comfortable bed and mosquito net (which we didn't end up needing). They suggested great restaurants, local food, sites to visit, and arranged taxi service when we needed.... More

We had an amazing time at this family run guest house. It's true the ceilings are rather low but we are both 6feet something and we didn't mind as the atmosphere is so nice. Our room was nicely decorated and well thought. The breakfast was delicious The showroom is rather impressive But the best of all are the owners of... More

What a wonderful place to stay. One of my favorites in Nepal. The staff is wonderful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. And make sure to ask them to arrange a walking tour for you. My guide was the best I've had so far.

A comfy guest house, full with history and cultural look, with a wood crazing centre and helpful and supportive owners and staffs. My initial reservation was for 2 nights which I extended to 3 nights. When I extended my stay in Nepal for work at Kathmandu, I decided that I would prefer to stay in Bhaktapur which provide a small... More

A building with all traditional Nepalese wood carving, the guest house itself is an art museum. Rooms r decorated in decent, and nice place for couple, especially the deluxe room. Only problem is that the gas is in the room, need to open windows when taking showers

We came to the Peacock a guest house for one night, and we're so entrance that we stayed for three. The hosts are charming, the rooms are spacious and enchantingly antique, and you really get the feeling of what life is like in old Bhaktapur. If you're sensitive to noise, make sure that your host knows so that they put... More

I stayed two nights in this place. Arun, Indra, Anzu- remember these names, they will just brighten up your day. The Newar architecture of the place you will stay is just hypnotising. Don't miss it! 😊

We came here to have breakfast in the afternoon instead of lunch more than once because it is just incredible. We had the simple set breakfast with an omlet. You also get toast, fresh fruit, a muffin and curd with fruits. Coffee or tea is also included. Everything is just perfect and people here are always nice :)

Dear Guest, Namaste and thank you for sharing your experience at Himalayan Bakery. It was pleasure to have you for a bite. We are glad that you loved our simple breakfast. We also serve waffles and sandwiches which are equally popular too. Thank you so much for your visit and hope that we can serve you again in future. More
