Cosy rooms and a nice courtyard. Very small bathrooms, but hot water in the shower. The staff was very friendly and attentive, always eager to know that we were feeling well. Unfortunately, in the rooms around the courtyard it was quite noisy, so that we woke up at 6 am. But that was the only minus.

Friendly staff bought this guest house to life, nice rooms and tasty breakfasts. Just a short walk from the main part of town. Solar power and LED lighting makes Vajra eco friendly and helps out with the Nepal power cuts. The front rooms have a nice view for sunrise, a tiny bit of noise from the street, so maybe ask...

Very good experience. Great location for visiting Bhaktapur's ancient sites. Great service and friendly staff. Basic, clean and nicely done. Beautiful lobby in accordance with Bhaktapur's medieval architecture.

Vajra Guest House in Bhaktapur lies inside the old city, just a half block from Durbar Square. The lobby is spacious and cool and the sparkling clean rooms, with parquet floors, elegant light fixtures, and scalloped pillowcases, have a real European vibe. The beds are comfy and the wifi fast and there is laundry service and a garden restaurant. The...

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. The location is perfect with easy access to the center of everything. The rooms are basic but nice. The view can't be beat. The power outages were often and the room can get hot without the fan running during the outages. We didn't have any issues with hot water. The breakfast...

Great atmospheric guesthouse in historic building close to all the sites. Spacious lobby and comfortable rooms. Good provision of solar emergency lights for the long and frequent power cuts. Breakfast was strange - one little table of food with not enough of any item for all four of us and all the hot stuff was cold but the waiter was...

I wanted to get out of Kathmandu and see some of the Newari style buildings and Bhaktapur is the perfect place. Vajra Guesthouse is right off Durban Square which is absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is literally less than 100 meters away. There were hardly any tourists there which I loved, pretty much had the city to myself. Everyone at the...
