After attending HH Dalai Lama's Kalachakra initiation we moved to this hotel from our shared apartment for few days to catch a good night sleep and thats exactly what we got. The room's price had also drastically decreased as well. The room attendees were very prompt despite them overworking during the previous weeks. Just imagine Bodhgaya was filled with almost...

Kirti guesthouse is very near to Mahabodhi temple and has a beautiful front yard. There is 7-eleven store nearby. Room is clean & large. The staffs are very helpful & friendly. I had two peace days at Kirti. Hope to come back soon.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Manager Arif is a very accommodating nice person. Difficult to find a closer place to the Mahabodhi than this. (If you request they arrange transport too for a reasonable fee. We were picked up from Patna airport and were dropped at Varanasi airport the following day.)

The regular of the guest house will virtually pre-booked months ahead during peak season for all the right reasons - well managed, well maintain, great restaurant, great location and very welcoming! Especially if you are looking for a clean and hygiene restaurant in the dust filled area in Bodhgaya, Kirti Guest House has it all.

This was a great place to stay in Bodhgaya as it's run by monks and is in the heart of the town, so we could easily walk to all the temples including the Mahabodhi temple. Our room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable, with a nice sitting area where we could open the windows (and hang our washing). There are...

the hotel is never going to win a Michelin star for it's food or decor but what it lacks in hot water and regular electricity supply it more than makes up for with their welcome and genuine concern for your well being. i only had 2 warm showers out of the 14 nights i spent there & got stuck in...

Overall there isn´t a great variety of hotels in Bodh Gaya, so we were happy to get a room in the top rated guesthouse on Tripadvisor. We (2 girls) have to say that when we arrived we were gutted about the poor condition our room was in. The "bathroom" had a shower that overflooded everything and the bathroom door couldn´t...

I believe the hotel is owned by Tibetan's in Dharamsala. It is large so there are often large groups on pilgrimage. It is clean and close to the World Heritage Sight. There is a large dining room that was only patronized by us. The rest of the hotel was taken over by a large group of Sri Lankans on pilgrimage...

We booked this guesthouse on the strength of it's Tripadvisor rating and I have to say that when we arrived I was a bit surprised at just how basic the triple room we booked was. Hot water on demand but no TV. Also there are building works going on at the moment which started at 8.00am and finished around 9.30pm...
