The property is lost in the middle of nowhere. The staff is rude and not professional (like all the 7 other NWR resort we have been except Onkoshi). You feel like to be in an administration queue or asking a favour ... The family chalet is huge but the equipment are broken and need to be changed. The swimming pools...

This dump of a hotel might have been a palace back in the days, but it wins the award of being the low point of our tour. Firstly, it's over an hour to Fish River Canyon, but most importantly, the rooms are completely not maintained and basic housekeeping was absent. Our room had peeling paint and mildew, one of the...

This is a NWR resort or a Namibia Wildlife Resort, ablutions a horrible for camper , not enough toilets. Baboons are a huge problem. We had to ask for the rubbish lying around to be picked up, take a drive out but not worth the money to stay over there are nicer places in the area, if you camp you...

We camped on nice grounds. Good facilities for camping, outdoor pool (which is warm), bar and restaurant (which we didn't use). There was no wi-fi which was surprising considering this was suppose to be a little more upmarket than other lodges. We didn't get the chance to view all the facilities as we were only there overnight. On the way...

My wife and I spent the night at Ai-Ais and loved it. The drive from the main road was very long and bumpy across corrugated gravel roads with nothing but rocks for many kilometers. We were so grateful to see water and trees when we arrived. The spa was beautiful. We had hot springs we could dip in right outside...

We won't return. This resort feels like it's stuck in the 80's and is in real need of a revamp. The staff are indifferent. The indoor pool is barely lukewarm. The rooms are big and clean but not great. The camp site looks grim from an outsider's perspective. There just aren't many redeeming features.

Such a pity, Ai-Ais is deteriorating at a rapid rate. My first time there, but fellow travelers been many times. They said never again. Camp sites are slow falling apart, some sites have dangerous electrical points, water taps leaking and hose pipes not even connected correctly to taps. The Fire Hoses are broken and some just missing. Ablutions are clean...

We only spent one night in the Ai-Ais Resort at the end of the Fish River Canyon and it wasn't a memorable one. The rooms are large but neither the air conditioning nor the wall outlets, the fridge or the water cooker worked. The shower produced only a drizzle and the indoor spa had a quite suspicious color. But the...

My husband and I were disgusted. We paid a lot of money for 2 nights accommodation and the first night we had to wait an hour and a half for our dinner even though we were sitting down 15 mins before the restaurant opened. The next day we discovered that there was no water as it was cut off for...

We were a little nervous for our stay in Ais Ais due to the reviews. We stayed in the mountain view room nr B 18 it was clean, tidy and had every thing we need. The towels was an art work itself on the beds, great personal touch! We had a perfectly prepared kudu steak and vegetables!! I'm not sure...
