The lodge is located in the middle of a private wildlife reserve, which makes it special to go there. At night you are only aloud to walk from you room to the restaurant. The rooms were nicely decorated and had a separate living and sleeping areas. The food at the restaurant is very good and the service is nice.

The bungalows are spacious and the beds great. All are far apart, so it's really private. Own parking area in front of the bungalow. You dine in the common area, and the tables are usually outside (so in winter, fleece plaids are provided). The lodge is situated just outside the Etosha Lindquist gate (east side), in its own reserve. You...

We stayed three nights in the Etosha Aoba Lodge. The entrance to the Onguma reserve is right next to the von Lindequist Gate, the east entrance to Etosha NP. From the gate its a 13 km ride on a small gravel road to the lodge. It takes a while to reach the lodge but this trip is already like a...

Etosha Aoba is right outside the gate entrance into Etosha National Park. Very convenient access whether you are driving yourself or if you are going with one of their guided safari tours (highly recommended). The lodge itself is very charming. Things I loved: - A very open and airy dining space - Pseudo-library and sitting area - Patio which overlooks...

What a beautiful and charming lodge. Very open and airy. Lovely outdoor seating by the pool, on the patio, overlooking the waterhole or around the evening fire. Easy Etosha access but we also enjoyed staying on the property one day and saw zebra, kudu, honey badger and more. The evening light casts a golden glow over the forest area, lanterns...

Aoba is just the get-away you need to recharge your batteries. 3 course romantic dinners (the meat was lovely and the best milk tart I ever had), coffee and a view of wild animals, very relaxed and quiet little place in the bush. The game drive was great, we saw a big leopard and many more beautiful animals. The sunset...

We are delighted that you could take a break and spend some time with us at Aoba. The best part of a bush break is a delicious meal under the stars and a freshly brewed cup of coffee (or glass of wine) around the fire, making new friends. We hope to see you again soon.

A big surprise right in the bush close to Etosha. Nice and clean rooms, very friendly service, good food. Completely relaxed atmosphere with a variety of animals right at the terrace of the restaurant (there is a small waterhole), and a lot of birds. The lodge fits completely into the bush, no foreign plants for instance, nothing fancy. A nice...

The food was beautifully served in a lovely setting and of excellent quality. It was a relaxing place to stay, but nothing like being in Etosha Park. I had mistakenly expected the advertised waterhole to be along the lines of those in the park, but it is really just a watersource that attracts birds and small animals. You cannot do...

The Aoba Lodge is a lovely lodge just around the corner to the Etosha Parc. We have already seen the first animals while driving from the gate to the lodge. The bungalows are spacious and the beds are very comfortable and there is quite a lot of space in between the different bungalows, so there is enough privacy also if...

Etosha Aoba is a beautifully designed and furnished lodge, set in woodland, with lots of animals. It is a lovely serene contrast to the large lodges in Etosha, whilst being only just outside, in Onguma, which is a beautiful reserve. The rooms have some lovely, the food is excellent, even catering well for vegetarians and the the staff are absolutely...
