Our color season tour of the UP included staying at Mom and Pop motels and, of course, some are better than others. This place fell under others. Although rooms were large, beds were comfortable, it was quiet and owners were pleasant and helpful, apparently rooms haven't been deep cleaned since smoking in rooms was eliminated. Very strong smell of old...

Very comfortable bed. Decent shower. Large rooms. Great location, near restaurants, shopping, bars, golf course . Very friendly / helpful staff with getting our 4 rooms near each other. A bit disappointed that the pool area was not open. But still would return.

They provided us with adjacent rooms, as requested. Very friendly folks who own the place. Large clean rooms with comfortable beds. No continental breakfast offered, but the motel is convenient to a number of restaurants, so this was no problem. Very close to a large grocery and liquor store. Right NEXT DOOR to the Hudson's Classic Grill. We were given...

This hotel has seen better days and the owners have obviously chosen to not put any money back into the place. Everything is worn and dated and amenities are minimal. The door did not have adequate locks and the room smelled terrible. There are other moderately priced hotels in this area and I would suggest trying those instead.

This is a outstanding motel, when we come to Marquette this is the ONLY place we will stay. The rooms are super clean and the owners are amazing, they will do what is needed to ensure that your stay is memorable. I highly recommend this motel!!!!

Can't think of a better place to stay when going up to Marquette, unless of course you're camping. Affordable, clean, and the the staff and owners are always friendly. Such warm and welcoming people, truly. Not a fancy place, but its still a very relaxing stay. The mattresses are quite firm, but personally I like a firm mattress so it...

Set right on the highway and in an easy 5 minute drive to just about anywhere you want or need to go, the Imperial is a nice little place to stay. Bargain prices for rooms that are clean and comfortable, you'd be just wasting your money to pass it by and go on to one of the "big" motels down...

We had to be in Marquette early the next day and chose to stay the night before. The Imperial offers a good hospital discount and unmatched service. I wasn't sure when we would be arriving and the owner offered to put the key under the office mat so we could get in the room if no one was in the...

From the first phone call, the owner treated me like she had known me for ever. Before we had arrived, I had talked to the owner a second time. She was so helpful and kind. When we arrived, we found our room to be very clean and more than enough room for the 4 of us. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean and comfortable. Decor is outdated but who cares for the great price. Host is a great local lady who is more than happy to direct you/recommend all the great things to see and do. She is super friendly and helpful.
