This is clearly a cheap hotel people on a budget. It was frustrating at first because we were called by the hotel as I drove up, confirming that we would be showing up in the window that the front desk was open. Imagine our surprise when the front desk was actually at a different motel. The room was old and run down, nail clippings on the floor, a rusted Kleenex holder, light switches that did nothing. A TV that wouldn't boot up to show, well, television. NIce view, and right on the water. And there was not a bad smell. That got to the Poor rating. Also, this was a last minute booking, and while overpriced for Labor Day, it was still one of the least expensive hotels in the area, and had availability. I have stayed in worse places, but I had had to think about it to remember them.

The one positive thing I will say is the ladies in the office were very friendly. The rest of the stay was not well. My family and I had booked two rooms and neither were clean. We found a booger on our bedspread and the shower looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The air conditioning nor TV worked. In my sister’s room they had to put up a towel in the window to get some privacy as there was no window shade. They also had broken lamps. The worst part though was the stairs were a little rough snd I ended up taking a horrible fall snd fell down eight stairs. I was badly injured. I would stay away at all costs.

Apparently four Motels in a row are owned by the same people. You check in the Sunrise Beach Motel for all four. We checked in for the Bridge View Motel. It was not for us. A little air conditioner in the wall that did not work right. No internet or tv service. They said there was a call in to the supplier. That didn't work for us. It is old and not worth the money. After asking for our money back, they moved us to the Sunrise Beach Motel. That motel was perfect. I would recommend the first floor, but were grateful to have a nice room.

Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Upon check-in the staff was very friendly and upgraded us to a king room with an amazing view of the bridge from our balcony. Although we didn't utilize the fire pit on the beach we loved that it was offered. The continental breakfast was unavailable due to COVID but we were given a BOGO coupon for another restaurant in town. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Sign on window says to check in at another hotel down a path next to boards with large nails sticking up walk by pool nasty check in woman was nice until i mentioned i reserved a balcony she seemed to think a deck next to my car was a balcony paper work even said balcony if i didn't reserve one that would be fine but Ii build homes and that's a porch with no chairs . then she became really rude and told me about stuck up customers . took my key headed to room .place was run down . Deck needed refinishing slider above me screen was off door . Room was real dated bathrooms were clean tv microwave small small fridge ok. beds were horrible two beds both were hard to sleep in next day complained to different women but with the same rudeness . Gave me a number on a flyer of the chamber of commerce. Bet the owners would love that. Called they said they would see what they could do and would call back never called. So two nights of miserable sleep and sore backs, No cleaning service until you leave so don't fill up those tiny waste baskets. No dumpster but out side our door next to unoccupied office was a three sided shed with a pile of garbage and bags . View was great no chairs or beach but there was a wooden bench but was always full . Could of used chairs on deck but didn't have any. Never left a review before and have traveled a lot in 60 years , And have stayed at some rustic places before . I'm mostly a positive person and look for the best but this time couldn't find it. Oh ya what breakfast? If someone took a little time and money bought new beds and had friendly staff this place wouldn't take much to get great reviews. So the last thing i have to say is this place is nothing that it advertises so spend your hard earned money elsewhere. A tent would be an up grade.

Service not bad, the poor guy was doing his best, but we do NOT recommend to stay here! Wish we had checked these reviews before booking as we had similar experiences to others on the page! As others, we arrive to a note on the lobby door to check in at another motel down the road…should have been the first sign! When we found our room it was upstairs the stairs were horrible dirty and the entryway outside of our room had dead and alive bugs all over the windowsill and corners and door entry. We accidentally opened the wrong door but the key worked anyway 🤔🤪 that room was not made up yet. Turned around to the correct room and it was already occupied! After driving back to the other lobby the guy said he would show us a couple more rooms. I could go into more detail but I won’t. I’m with my mom who had Covid in 2021…neither of us wanted her to stay there! It’s bad!!! We drove off and decided to look for another place! We found a very nice independently owned motel and come to find out the man who owns this one and the other three also owns around 30 others in he town! Be careful!! After checking in to his place we drove back down there dropped our key off outside the lobby door in the box and didn’t look back. I’ve called and disputed it with my credit card company.

Dirty, no breakfast, broken things in the room that need attention . Beds were uncomfortable. Did not appear clean either. No fitted sheet on the bed. Never had experienced that before. Clogged drains and dirty walls among other things. Not stocked with towels upon arrival, sign on door to office saying go down the street for assistance. Rude office worker when we asked why the room hadn't been made up. Do not recommend staying here way over priced for the experience we had. View was the only good thing. Place needs an overhaul. My family had two rooms with king size beds. Both were bad.

We arrived and the room we had requested could not be ready. The owner showed us a room that did have a view but smelled musty. He said he would give it to us for what we had paid $88. We had no TV as he said Spectrum didn’t turn on in time. We went and bought a room deodorizer then left for the evening. We got back and changed our clothing and the floors were wet. Exhausted we went to bed to wake 2 hours later to a haven of spiders as we had heat turned on. It was miserable we advised owner only to be told he was sorry. No refund offered nothing. We will not be back and it’s sad as we rented from another of their properties for the past 3 years.

Horrible!!!!!! Everything is filthy!! Don't be fooled by "remodeled" rooms .... Place is flat dirty. Pool unusable ... Puke or poop in it.... Gross. Rotten door jambs. Dirty windows... Furniture from 80s mattress from 70s. Stained linens. Dirty grounds, exterior and common areas. RUN!!!

Beautiful views! Older property with some updates. Room was clean & cute. Reminded us of a B&B. Quiet, nice beach for walking maybe even some rockhounding. Very inconvenient to go to Sunrise to register!! Staff was nice & friendly!
