This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel and this year our whole family stayed and we were upset during this visit. The lobby is closed so you must walk next door to check in, speak to employees ect. We did not see any other employees during the stay besides housekeepers in the morning, if you need extra towels ect you must walk next door to retrieve them yourself. The ‘water park’ is pretty much a little pool but was closed during our stay. Normally they have free breakfast but because of covid it was canceled and was told the substitution was a coupon (in the local paper) for a restaurant that wasn’t open our whole stay. The room was so not updated and dirty. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the beds because the sheets in all of my families rooms were dirty. The screen door to our balcony was broken and because I have a toddler I didn’t feel comfy having the door open the whole stay. The only benefit of this place is the on the water view, a nice beach, balcony on the beach and within walking distance of downtown. The refrigerators are not the same in each room and are very old. The rooms did not have many plugs so to charge electronics you must unplug the lamps to use the plugs. The wifi did not work. Apparently many of the hotels are owned by the same person and seemed pretty ran down. I hope next year the hotel will be updated and clean or we will choice a different place for our 3 family yearly outing.

The long and short of it-had a very nice beach and view from balcony and for the price vs. the other beachside hotels that was nice. The hotel itself was lacking in service (as no staff at your hotel check in) you check in at adjacent hotel which really wasn’t a big deal. The room was lack luster at best but we made it work however, we agreed it was a bit dirty and spent some of our initial Time wiping/washing things down, so that was off putting but made it better for us. Stayed for 4 days and each day felt better more lived in and the views of beach from balcony was the star of the show. Next time we may perhaps spend a few hundred more to get a nicer room and cleaner hotel. One indoor pool open and just ok, water was warm. The kids indoor water park was closed in general. We spent a lot of time outside of hotel so we decided to save on room as we wouldn’t be spending a lot of time there but it’s always nice to jump back into a nice bed in a nice room when you return that feels clean and kept and we quiet get that feeling here. Either way was close to town and felt safe overall. we had a great vaca either way.

Nice view but that’s about all I can say. Went to check in, front desk very rude till the next morning at check out time. Walked in the room, it smelled really bad, pillowcases laying on the bed, bugs all over the ceiling & walls, mold in the bathroom by shower, drains didn’t work in the bathtub or sink, had to stand in water while showering. TV or phone didn’t work in room. No coffee or breakfast at hotel at all. The only good thing was there was a balcony with a beach view but I would have never spent this much on a room but we needed a place to sleep. I hope the hotels & Papa Zo’s pizza place get it together for the tourism. That’s how you make your $$. Amazingly I seen someone picking up all the garbage on the beach that people left there. That really surprised me after my experience of the hotel itself. Pics are of the view from the room. Think that’s what sells it!

The website for the hotel promises a pool, access to waterparks, and a large breakfast buffet. The waterpark is closed. The pool is too cold so they recommend that you crash a pool in a hotel down the street. There is no breakfast provided. Instead, they suggest you go to a restaurant down the street. The room and bathroom are dirty. Worst of all, it was 40 degrees during our May trip and the heat did not work in one of the rooms. We tried to call in the night as the room got colder and colder and no one answered the phone. We went to the desk the next day to complain and they promised to fix it right away. 5 hours later with another night approaching, we went back to the desk and complained again. They eventually brought us a space heater but refused to discount the price for the night spent in an unheated room. Avoid this place!

I cannot even begin to describe how awful the hotel was. I usually don't write negative reviews but had to for this hotel. The rooms were very old and dirty. I don't think they had cleaned the cobwebs in years. We lost power one night for over an hour because we used the microwave and then they were put out because they had to come turn the power back on. We asked for towels a couple of times since they aren't doing housekeeping and never received them. Had to get pool towels to use. :( I cannot believe we had to pay the exorbitant price for this place. We would have moved hotels but they couldn't cancel our room without going to another property to talk to the manager. The worst part in my opinion was how unsafe the rooms were for small children. The tv and all the cables were in the 4-5 feet away from the wall on a table with all the cords exposed. It got unplugged several times and was a falling hazard with out small children. I was hoping for some sort of compensation for all of this, but no one was available at checkout to discuss anything. The pool was also dirty and the splash pad was closed, but that was never disclosed online.

I booked this without reading the reviews. I thought its a Fairview. It must be nice. Wrong. I needed a place that was dog friendly and this is the ONLY thing going for it. A lot of this is fixable too. First off the site advertised free continental breakfast. Nope. When we arrived the lady at the desk said due to "covid" they are not offering breakfast. Only the hotels in town can offer breakfast. I guess covid is an excuse for this hotel. The faucet in the bathroom was literally hanging on the sink. I was amazed water came out. The screen on the sliding door was only attached on two sides so our door had to be closed due to our small dog. I was afraid she would slip through and we were on the top floor. Also the lights in the stairwell were out on every floor and it was pitch black trying to go up and down without the flashlight on my phone so I hope someone from the fire dept OSHA is reading this. The coffee pot carafe must have broke and they replaced it with one from another brand. It was too small and hubs had to hold the pot up while it was brewing so it would stream into the pot. SMH. Last but not leastI I like to thoroughly check the room before I leave. Apparently the cleaning person does not. There was a pacifier under the bed. Who knows how long it had been there. This room isn't worth he price. But again all of this is fixable so why wasn't it?

Do not stay here! When we checked in had to go to hotel next door and was met with unfriendly front desk staff. No breakfast, no waterpark and no we ae sorry for the inconvenience. We were given a coupon card that all other hotels receive for a deal they worked out with a restaurant. Room was dirty and when tried to talk to front office was told it was clean. Dirt on the walls, bathroom was dirty, linens stained. Waterpark was closed but, pool area was open but, water was green and the pool area dirty.
You could tell where their property ended and the next hotels started on beach due to trash and condition of the chairs.
Told there was free wifi and lobby area for me to work in during the morning there was neither. Causing me to go Starbucks to work while my family slept.
Do not stay here should of researched better.

This hotel is very very dirty. I dont have high standards for hotels. We just need a clean bed and shower because we are out and about doing things. But this place was awful. The bathroom was dirty. There was black grim on the sink handles and I dont know if the sink has ever been scrubbed. The carpet was so dirty your feet got black walking around. We stayed 2 nights and housekeeping never came around. There was only 1 trash can in the room and it was pretty full due to us being a family of 5. I sat the trash can and pizza box outside the door in hopes of it being emptied but no one ever came around for trash. Theres no continental breakfast due to COVID, which isn't their fault but they should let people know that on their website. We had to ask several times for the indoor pool to be unlocked so the kids could swim. The outdoor pool is down the road. It is very small and you are sharing it with several other hotels. I highly recommend choosing a different place to stay!

Only good thing to report was the view. Office staff was even there, we had to check in at a neighboring hotel. There was no elevator. Room had trash sticking out from under the beds. Half the lights didn’t work. Some weren’t even plugged in. The towels were dirty, not just stained, WiFi wouldn’t work. And, we paid over $200 for an off-season deal.

We arrived at our hotel, got to our room and walked in to no lampshade on the lamp and no way to adjust the temperature in our room. The room was drab but not filthy. I walked into the bathroom to find only 1 towel (there were 4 of us) and the floor was dirty. The water park advertised was closed. The pool was open and the kids enjoyed it. The first time we used the toilet it didn’t flush properly and got worse with every flush until it needed service. We called the office 3 times in 2 hours until they found someone to fix it. We found bugs in our bed as well. We never slept under the covers. I have never had such a bad experience.

Yes, we do allow dogs. There is a one time $25 pet fee and a waiver that needs to be signed.
