We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite in September of 2016. It was nicely decorated, fantastically clean, and in a great location that made pretty much everything on the island accessible. It's off the main drag, which is nice, because it makes the setting more peaceful. The condo we were in had a full size fridge and stove, which was super.... More

this is a great place to stay if you have stayed on the island before and come to realize that unless you are eating at a Grand Hotel establishment, the service and quality of your meal may be equal to the price you are paying. The answer is to cook your own meals and at Park Place Suites it is... More

Love sitting in the park across the street...the motel, itself, us clean and nice, but the location is what I keep coming back to....the bridge is right out your front door. You can sit on a bench and if you are lucky, see a freighter come by!

My husband and I have been going up to Mackinac Island for many years. Last year we decided to bring our dog so we stayed at Mission Point because they take pets. We had an o.k. experience, but were looking for something closer to the docks and the main street shopping area. This year we did some searching and found... More

Called to reserve a room in advance. Told by owner that she calls a list of "regulars" before opening up reservations to the public. We have a service animal. The owner said she charges a fee for service animals which, per the ADA, this is unacceptable.

I regret this potential guest has such strong feelings about something I could have totally avoided by stating I was booked for their requested dates but I was being honest and offer no apologies for that. I have many repeat guests who have been loyal customers for years and I readily admit I take that into deep consideration and give... More

This was our 4th time at Park Place and we are still in love. Close to everything, pet friendly and clean, well kept rooms. We have now stayed in all three of the suites available - the "Northern Sleeper" ---great when we brought the grandkids, because there is one bedroom and a bed in the main room; the "Southern Sleeper"... I've been going to with my family to Mackinac Island every summer for the yacht races for almost 20 years and we like to try different places on the island. This was our first stay at Park Place Suites. The Northern Sleeper was a pleasant place to spend our 4 day trip. The apartment was immaculate! The full kitchen was... More

We chose Park Place Suites because it was one of the few places that fit all of our criteria (pet-friendly, large enough for 5 adults and close to downtown), and it was even better than we expected. The location is ideal - it is downtown so close to everything you need or want, but it is on Market St, one... More

Great location to boat lines and downtown. Large and clean rooms. It feels like you have your own apartment. The kitchen is nice to have so you don't have to go out for every meal. Great place to stay with family or friends. Definitely will be returning to stay here!

I have stayed at Park Place Suites twice now and plan to keep coming back year after year. I stay in the Southern Sleeper with two bedrooms and two baths. We bring our dogs and it is delightful. The fenced in yard is a bonus. The dogs love it. The location is perfect. Chris is amazing. Park Place Suites is... More

“The Northern Sleeper is great for small families -- it is upstairs, so not good if you need an Accessible room. The Southern Sleeper is great for larger groups. Two full bedrooms and two full baths, plus a sleeper sofa and it is on the ground floor, accessibility is great.”
