We found the Metivier Inn "by accident" when our usual hotel was not available for a fall weekend--that was 20 years ago, and we have come back every year since. The home is beautiful, the breakfast is wonderful, and we especially look forward to seeing our hosts, Bianca and Dave (and before them Angie and George). Did I mention George's...

Metivier Inn Bed and Breakfast is a WONDERFUL place to stay! The managers and the entire staff are absolutely terrific. They are very personable, professional and pleasant. Always making sure you are enjoying your stay and always willing to help with even the smallest request. From the delicious hot breakfast (the homemade oatmeal is a must), to the coffee, tea and...

We have been staying at the Metivier for 8 years, after trying other B&B's on the Island. The Staff is always very friendly, food is home made, varied, and always good. Rooms are nicely appointed and very clean. Location is convenient and scenic. Highly recommended.

We picked this inn because my daughter and her husband has previously stayed there. This is the first time we stayed at a bed and breakfast and was not sure what to expect. They were very friendly and helpful. We came in early and they held out luggage and offered to call our cell number when the room was ready....

We had a great time here. It was directly across from the horse stables and this was very comforting, as we are horse people. It was lovely and clean. The only cause for pause was the handling of the gift certificate. We received this nights stay as a gift and the only room available was significantly lower in price than...

We stayed 2 nights in room 15 which is located in the back (outdoor) wing. Very nice comfy room. 2 chairs, large bath had a stall shower which was fine with us. Hotel is located one street back from the main tourist street but close to the ferry. Gardens are absolutely gorgeous. Tourists were stopping all day to take pictures....

The Metivier Inn is a very charming inn with beautiful gardens. My husband and I stayed there for 6 days and had a great experience. We had room #18 and it was on the 3rd floor. I must admit that I am not a physically fit person so I got tired of the stairs really fast but I booked late...

This lovely victorian B&B on Mackinac Island was outstanding. I was so lucky to pick this one from the internet. The location is terrific. A quick 3 minute walk up a slightly steep street directly across from Shepler's Ferry. I pulled my wheeled suitcase easily. There are porters at the ferry dock who will tote your luggage up. They happily...
