Stayed here in shoulder season, about one week before everything gets buttoned up for winter. Hosts are very accommodating and welcoming. Bedroom was comfortable with a modern bathroom. Tea and cookies or other snacks are served every afternoon. Breakfasts were excellent, with an egg casserole, coffeecake, cereal, bagels, etc. every day. People with mobility issues should know it is a... More

Enjoyed the afternoon teas and the breakfasts. It was close to the docks and the Main Street. Would have liked a bigger bed (we a had a full) and not used to that. It was nice to be on the first floor and having a private bath.

Wow what a great stay Well worth the visit. Love the 'welcome home' greeting! Really great location and not too far from anything, but then not much is too far on this island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It's filled with antiques including our bed...which was a little 'noisy' if you know what I mean...soooo, just, like, you know, take... More

We stayed for 2 night's in Margaret, very pretty room with many antiques, very good mattress comfy. Breakfast was great , brownies at tea time were yummy. I give this bed and breakfast a big number 5. Would go back here every time. Thank you Cloghaun for making our anniversary awesome.

Where to begin? It is my "happy place" and we go as often as we can. It is the only place I care to stay when visiting Mackinac Island. And I know they have many, many guests who return frequently. It is a beautiful B & B, with a wonderful 130-year history. The innkeepers take such good care of their... More

This was our first visit to Mackinac Island, and the Cloghaun was the perfect place to stay. Everything was easily walkable from the B&B, including the ferry. The staff was friendly, the room was attractive, spotless, and comfortable, and the breakfasts each day were something to look forward to. (Note: My tea was actually piping hot each morning; almost everywhere... More

We had a very restful and relaxing stay in Nellie's room. Buffet-style breakfast was delicious with a wide selection sure to please any palate. The staff was very accommodating and shared helpful hints about places to dine and attractions. I'm looking forward to a return visit.

They say you can't go back in time but Cloghaun Bed & Breakfast on Mackinaw Island comes very close. Elegant Victorian home with period furniture, a staff that pays attention to every little detail and beautiful flower gardens to enjoy outside. This was our third visit and we will be back next year.

We decided to stay at this property for being in town for a wedding on Mackinac Island. We loved the property and the staff was very nice. The breakfast in the morning was substantial and hit the spot- a nice spread of pastries, jams, fresh fruit, coffee, juices and a baked egg breakfast casserole. The room we stayed in (#10)... More
