We were in town to visit family. Had found the bed & breakfast on the Internet. The property looked as though it was a nice place to stay. The price was excellent compared to the hotels in the area. When we arrived late at midnight, the owner was waiting for us with the porch light on. We were welcomed &... More

I stayed with my fiancé at this quaint little farm last summer in July when we were attending a good friend's wedding. The first thing we noticed was the warmth of our hostess. A lady who single handedly runs this establishment, our hostess was very helpful in making sure that we settle in as smoothly and comfortably as possible. Apart... More

We recently reserved three rooms at Shamrock Farms Bed and Breakfast in Lapeer County after viewing their professionally written website with lovely photos. Unfortunately, this place was not at all as it was represented in it’s web site. To enter the home, we walked across the porch which was occupied by a couple chickens. At first glance this was charming,... More

Warm and welcoming, cozy and comfortable. This B&B is nicely kept and offers a unique farm setting just minutes from shopping and good eats. We totally enjoyed petting the animals and holding sweet Sally the goat. Plenty of room and privacy... we had a king sized bed that was soooo toasty warm and comfortable. Only drawback was no shelf in... More

My wife and I had never been to the area and, based on on-line reviews, decided to take a trip and spend a night here. We got to the B&B REALLY early and so had the chance to head to town for shopping, browsing, and eating. When we finally made our way back to check in we were greeted by... More

Our brief stay at Shamrock Farms was wonderful. The Roses room was as lovely as described with our own bathroom and the comfy bed was second to none. Stacey makes the BEST breakfast and was kind to bring us a baby goat to snuggle on the patio. Our host, Maurine was charming company and very helpful about where to shop,... More

This stay at the Shamrock Bed and Breakfast was excellent. The location is nestled on a beautiful farm with gorgeous acreage. The home itself is the most precious, Victorian home that fills each room with character. The hostess was very flexible and accommodating. The rooms were perfect. Price very reasonable for such a unique place. And best of all, the... More

I don't know what janetemiller10 was talking about. My boyfriend and I stayed at Shamrock Farms in 2013 and swore we'd be back because it was the best time at a B&B that we've ever had. We had the entire place to ourselves and we were free to go into the barn and feed the animals, which was amazing! It... More
